Obs out for stork, going to boxer\\\'s base. Stork mines his blocking minerals to the 6 expo. Bay started for stork, boxer has blocked his nat expo with a bunker and a tank. Stork dropping goons behind boxer\\\'s back, and it\\\'s gonna hurt. Boxer pulls out scv\\\'s and has 2 tanks to defend. TL is lagging like hell for me, so i don\'t know if this was posted already. Stork clears out the little contain force with his reaver and forces a barrack lift, plus kills the bunker and tanks. Reaver going to harass boxer\'s main, no damage so far, boxer was prepared. Stork gets 5 more gates to a total of 7. Boxer had made a cc at the contain in front of stork\'s nat (he has balls), but is flying back home. Stork finishes his nexus at 3. It\'s 3 v 2 base right now, but boxer will land his cc now at the 9 nat, he still has to mine the minerals blocking that entrance though. | ||

Boxer had 3 expoes, 12, nat and 3. Stork did a double pronged attack to 12 and 3 and raced 12, but Boxer stopped the 9 base attack. No scv's mining at nat. Dropship out for boxer, and the longest line of zeals i have ever seen running to boxer's 12. | ||

I didn't watch the game actually. But overall, in both TvT and TvP he's developing an EXTREMELY macro/defense-oriented style which 1) is totally unlike him and 2) seems to fail almost every time anyway. Plus it's not really entertaining, to say the least. | ||

The thing is to prepare those kind of games you need a hell of a lot of time, to analyze the opponent, look for the time window where the push is more effective, test the different ideas, etc. His practice partners aren't up to par either, so I'm guessing he just doesn't want to lose horribly like clon with an ill prepared strategy, I mean, he still has a lot of fans and seeing him getting raped game after game would be like seeing the legend falling down, again (just my opinion). I'm not defending his change of style, which is definately boring and not producing results, but i think that's why he's done it. | ||

That TvT vs Sheis (fast ultra-agressive 2 fact vults/mines), the one vs Nada on Sin Peaks (proxy fac, kill fac addon with sieged tanks from below, then control) as well as the TvPs vs Ra (was a rush though) or Bisu (timing push) were all total successes. Actually preparing a specific build on each single occasion might be too much to ask, but at least play more agressive overall, which he's definitely still capable of. | ||

I think he's very strong when it comes to things like that. A small advantage by a build / timing push and he gets super aggressive with everything he has. It's still interesting to see that he's able to win vs the big guys from time to time. I'd love to see a full time boxer again. Like you guys said, practice time, probably practice partners, his own teammates who can't simulate the styles of the big names...It's just not the same environment. I would pay for another tvz where boxer really micros the shit out of his enemy. | ||

Actually preparing a specific build on each single occasion might be too much to ask, but at least play more agressive overall, which he's definitely still capable of. Yeah, it'd be much more entertaining if he was much more aggresive, even if he loses. Better practice partners would be a great help too . | ||
