It will be a bit difficult to park right by the venue, but I've never had a problem finding a spot within a few blocks. That area in particular might be a bit more crowded than past venue locales. When I met Overtime by the venue, he was parked maybe 2-3 blocks away. Driving would definitely be more convenient for getting to and from the venue though, I think. Depends on whether or not you will be at KBBQ drinking too

Nothing expected, anything is welcome. If you can't make it to NYC, how about a watch party with the DC/VA crew? Be with us in spirit and on stream haha.

Parking is a pain in the ass in Flushing However, it's not like it's impossible to find parking and there is a municipal parking lot like 2-3 blocks from the gaming place if you end up not being able to find parking on the street. There are probably a couple of private garages around that area too. I don't think it's a bad idea to drive from Newark. For example I went to eat in the vicinity of the gaming place a couple of months ago and found parking 3 blocks away I used to go to the KBBQ place like every week. When I finally got a car, I never had problems finding parking. sometimes I had to walk 3-4 blocks though lol. If youre lucky you will find parking in their small parking lot in the back but i doubt it since it's gonna be packed. I usually parked in surrounding the residential areas (2-5 block walk) when I couldn't find parking in the lot or on the same block. This was years ago thought idk if anything changed. A bunch of local busses run almost 24/7 (at least back in my day. I know the q13 still runs like 22-23 hours at the very least ) that stop right near the BBQ place.

For an event like this it basically doesn't make sense to prepare for any specific race, but I went ahead and tallied the races that were submitted. I guess the argument can be made if you're aiming for #1 to prepare for the race of the person who is the strongest contender, for example, but outside of that there really is no justification to practice specifically for one race IMO.
