I know reavers are but it's been a while since I saw storms in PvP as well as Dark Archon for feedbacks. Grats to Rain. HT+Cannon is a common follow up after going DTs nowadays. Dark Archon is not very common but I've seen Snow and Best do it a few times. It's definitely more popular than before though.

Mini better play his heart out or bring out the nastiest and most despicable cheeses in existence because Rain is really over 9000. And I don't even like Rain yet all the praises are well deserved and not enough. Awe, just awe at his abilities.

They haven't mentioned his name or record (pre and post kespa) once in that regard... I think in general they don't really like to mention inactive players that often. Maybe I'm wrong but I think they're just trying to hype up the current tournament/players so they don't want to make it seem like there are way better players out there that just aren't competing (except for flash). But yeah totally agree that Bisu had the best PvP in the kespa era, although since he never went deep into tournaments after 2009 it wasn't really tested that much in high-stakes series play for the last 2-3 years. An argument could be made for Stork being the best PvPer in BoXs.

His claim is in the fact that he could always go toe to toe with the top Protoss players. However, ![]()

But when discussing the best he has to be mentioned. It's be like having a Terran discussion and leaving out Nada because Flash is active.

Rain vs. Mini is going to be great. The pros often talk about the important of momentum in a series, especially in a long BO7. I can see Mini pulling off the upset if he can go on a roll winning G1/G2, then potentially riding that into a championship. But if the first couple games go in Rain's favor, really won't be surprised if this ends in an anticlimactic sweep. Rain has a strong mental game, whereas Mini's still developing his (and is certainly growing with his results in the past few tournaments). Good luck to both!
