Match one Sharp v Modesty is hard to predict. If I was picking the stronger player, I would say sharp, if I was to pick based upon historical racial advantage and/or map advantage, I would also have to go sharp.... but, any zerg who is willing to go all out for an under 8- 9 minute win - is dangerous, and modesty has shown he is willing to do just that.

It seems like every bo5 v terran we get one lurker-hydra-drop game. I am pretty sure we will see a lurker tech before muta build in at least one game.

I am rooting for Sharp because I think the tournament would be better with him in it. I have some fear that I will see some uber crappy 1-1-1 build ala forgg but it may just be my bias against it ( I think terran is too strong against zerg to play such a fragile early-midgame regularly, when you are able to make hydras good tvz, I think you have gone astray)

Miso v Snow....

I have no interest in Miso or his games - he is one of those rare zergs, I just don't care about.

Snow is not only an experienced and highly skilled player but he is chronically involved in very interesting bo5s.

I hope he steals a Mini zealot build or a Stork v Jaedong middlegame build and obliterates Miso. Not a Snow fan ( I think he is a less good Mini or a Best derivative) but like Sharp, I think the tournament will be more fun with him in it.

Glad to see Sharp win that one. +1 attack would have been better, if all he was going to do was attack buildings.

Modesty was sloppy and deserved to lose imo.

Very nice hold by Sharp. Modesty appeared to be doing well early on in that game.

Modesty just played the worst 3 hat muta of the year.
3 mutas dead before a marine killed.
6 or 7 mutas dead for nothing.
3 muta bound lords died for no reason.

Just a horrible attempt.

Rawr - Thanks for pointing that out. I forgot the terran I watched Modesty muta to death was Sharp.

I voted no. Modesty Muta control was off that game. Maybe he was tilted after losing those first 2 mutas. That's gotta feel awful. He had ok control game 1 so I think the first mutas being killed just threw him off his game.
