That being said the 2-3 hours on designated nights is fucking horrible. Its bad enough qualified players have to pay their way to the offline regionals (please be in washington or MAYBE california) but now I cannot make it to 2 of the nights (sat/sun) and the times we play are 3 days of finals for me and 2 days of dead week (studying my ass off). Seems like I have an exscuse each year for not being a part of WCG but this is kind of making it easy for me to exscuse myself. Regardless I have a smurf already to go (think it has my real name in the account rofl) and I have actually some what practiced the maps (excluding PA rofl) so I will be in good shape to give it a hard go I anticipate being able to play the full time thurs-friday and mond-wed? I just kinda hope I get the ladder figured out, last time GamOn was hard as fuck for me to figure out. | ||

You login to GameOn, and host a game using the wcg game type. If you don't login, and don't use the wcg game type, your match won't count. | ||

In order to participate, you must have a WCGZONE account associated with the e-mail address that you received this at, and it must be confirmed/activated. Confirmed/Activated means that it is possible for you to access members area of the site. (For example: Able to create new topic in Forum) For games to count as a WCG game, the game must be started through GamOn (which can be downloaded by clicking the top-right link) client. Details on how to use GamOn as well as how to play Starcraft through GamOn can be found by clicking help/manual once you are logged in. | ||

You wouldn't even have to really pay for a spot, and USA would have one badass mother fucker playing for it. Just make it known to them that you're in the area and they won't really have to do anything financial other than let you play. Edit: Did Insane just swear? Weird. | ||

WCG only happens once every year. This online is once a year, and only for 6 days... I think I can afford to take the time to play it because there are an infinite amount of chances to do other stuff whenver I want, but only these 6 days to play WCG online. | ||

The 1st qualifier was South/Atlantic, and people from everywhere played in it and qualified, and are allowed to go to any regional they want if they qualify. This doesn't really sound like a fair way to set it up but it would work if WCG just kept the time the same as it was last time (9est/6pst) and made it clearer that everyone can play in both. | ||

You can live anywhere in the USA, and play in any qualifier, but if you win a qualifier that isn't near you, you'll have to travel to that area. So if you got the money to travel, you can play in multiple events until you qualify. In some games, people play in a pacific event when they live in new york, cuz there's less of a challenge. | ||

No ladder will show up on the launcher until 9pm, which is when the ladder starts. 4. If you downloaded the newest launcher and it gets stuck at some update screen when you open it, try closing it, cuz you don't need to update. If it doesn't let you, close the program and type this into Run: C:\Program Files\GamOn\GamOn.exe 5. Only 1 match against the same person in the same day is allowed. | ||

when I log into gamon, click on pacific qual The screen shuts and then it shoots me to a registration screen I believe the problem lies in this: when going to june monthly league, my id shows up as xem)cyrax i got nai.cyrax wcg tag, etc etc etc Just kinda mad i can't appeal any of my games and that it's 4am for me right now....Nevermind I gota trick the gamon launcher to launch bw for the split second i have after i click pacific qual. Now I'm 0-4, i should be 2-4 Sorry for the repost... | ||

If you see me running an event, you can be sure it will be ran to the fullest of my capabilities, no matter if it's online or at a lan, and it doesn't matter which game I'm running. Could you please read my post? I'm baffled on what to do...I can't click appeal because my pacific qual portion of gamon loads for half a second, then boots me to a registration page... I have to trick it by clicking launch starcraft for the split second I got that it loads before forwarding to the reg/ranking page. | ||
