this time teams will be 5players:
2 king tier, 2 joker tier, 1 queen tier
there are 30 king tier players (top ranking players from ASL) so those are the key players when making a team since there is a limited pool.
joker tier can be anyone from lower ranking progamer to amateur streamer
queen tier is any girl streamer
example my team: last, larva, nada, tossgirl, cadenzie
details (times in KST):
winning team 6,000,000won
runner up 2,000,000won
you can make a team and apply from the above link but you must be available to play from korea from 31st march to 13th april
31st 2pm and 7pm -> wild card tournament
2nd april 6pm -> bracket selection
4th april, 5th april, 7th april and 8th april 8pm -> RO8 elimination bracket online
9th april and 11th april 8pm -> Semi finals online
13th april 7pm -> offline freecup studio
maps are from a mix of ladder maps and asl maps
teams must be submitted before 25th march midnight
6 top voted teams will play from playoff stage and the other 2 teams will come from the wildcard tournament (if more than 8 teams apply)

That looks like a fun team to be in. I hope Tyson gets a win this time. I mean he did actually beat Flash in the ASL team battle.. But going winless last starbjmatch, I felt kinda bad for him standing there during the trophy ceremony.

i dont know if anyone else has completed their team yet even, but since its make your own teams its usually people who are friends or family even, e.g. shine and his sister are making a team but it will be announced soon after all the entries are in~

top 2 teams get a nice comfy seed for the bracket selection, teams 3 to 6 get to bypass the wildcard, and teams 7-12 have to go through the grueling gauntlet of the wildcard tournament on sunday.
only two teams can advance from the wildcard tournament to join the rest of us in the main tournament.
teams are split into 2 groups 7thplace, 10th place and 11th place in group A, and 8th, 9th and 12th in group B.
games start at Sunday, Mar 31 5:00am GMT (GMT+00:00)

interestingly this time there is the return of team melee (that was in season 1 last year) except this time its 3 progamers on each team~ so it should be pretty incredible to watch. for example, the top voted team could be flash, jaedong and soma playing as a team in team melee.

I'm sure this was just a friendly jab. but lest someone take it seriously, it's possible that the entirety of TL community had zero chance to compete against the massive fanbase of the likes of Britney, JD, Flash in Korea.

Yes, it took popularity vote.
Top 6 teams were decided to participate and bottom 6 teams played wild card games.
