This build he's doing is a bit of a reaction to recent meta and his scouting. He scouted the ridiculously early lair so knew it was 2 base muta, he chose to get vulture speed to fight any ling attacks, then he pulled off gas to pump his econ and fund mass turret/barracks. 1/1/1 is like the first couple of rungs of a ladder and then it branches off depending on scouting and what kind of game you wanna play. | ||
