It’s a shame Sparkle is so rubbish for PvZ because it has produced some cool games in the other matchups.

I don’t mind them using a semi island map but they can’t use two. It’s too big a hurdle for T and Z to get over and skews it too far towards a Protoss winning.

Sparkle games felt cool at the very beginning because it was new and exciting. At some point, it started feeling like one knows the winner of the match beforehand just based on the races.
The map itself is a total trainwreck looking at the stats. Both ZvP and TvZ seem pretty much unwinnable currently.

Yes I think you’re right. I can’t see any way for them to keep Sparkle. I wonder if third world would benefit from having one of those Sparkle style expos where z can take the gas but the others can’t. It might be a map worth tinkering with a bit more.

Sparkle was a mistake and it will be long gone. Mass Sairs are a bit too strong on third world imo.

All three players left are pvp masters? How would you rank them in terms of pvp prowess?

Rain really played Hero in the 2nd game. Hero probably thinks it's proxy 2 gate from the 1st zealot timing, when he could have defended and taken his natural. From that point, his best option is 2 hatch muta and Rain counters accordingly, really well thought out overall by Rain.

Aren't Transistor and Gladiator kind of Zerg favored vs Protoss and does that not mean that Hero had 3 favored maps to play on, while Rain 2? So its kind of Hero's fault that he did not take his home court advantage (if I may call it like this)
