Tell me a bit about yourself and your team A. Hi Qikz, Well, my name is Nicolás Moreno, im 26' and im finishing Law at university, and in about 2008 I created my team "Disturbed Mind" with other 2 ppl AreS & Lastday, after like 10 tries with other tags in a chilean server called "Rox", my team was always with a Chilean players base, but we manage to get some players from the US, and Europeans too. Back in iCCup, we managed to play in BWCL (old one) iCCupCL, Gambit Cup, and all the clan leagues with good positions, after the Remastered launch ann i started to play some games at iCCup, then others friends went back too, so we made the team again with the help of Tech, Rusty and XenOsky. Its funny cuz 4-5 players that we have now they played in the olds days with the team =), so its good cuz we're like a family. We had so great times in last year these 3 members of my team did a "Starcraft News Report" in spanish called "Area deportiva" (You can see here http://disturbedmind.net/index.php/area-deporitva ) and it was really fun i think that our pick of activity was in oct-nov on last year, but after sooo many months with only 1 league, and a laggy ranked ppl started to become inactive, but anyways we have an good group to fight in this league =) Q. Are your team looking forward to competing in the STPL? A. Yea!! Q. Who would you say your strongest player is and why? A. Well Strongest player in my team, we are all like in the same lvl but i think that Tech has improved a lot since the SC:R launch, he can be rlly good and lately cRuZa is playing in a amazing performance, so these two are the strongest players in my team for sure. Q. Out of all the other teams, who are you most worried about facing? A. No one, but we're exciting to play against [WHITE] cuz you know, they're koreans Q. Any feedback? A. At this point, I want a W/O if I don't get some response before the end of day (to account for time zones and such). I've posted in this thread, posted several times on discord over several days so that we can work out some time since we live in completely different time zones and even messaged my opponent on TL as a last resort and still nothing. A: Going in to the match as the underdogs actually felt pretty good. I am certain of how strong our team is and therefore I think I speak on behalf of whole iRk family when I say we did not doubt our chances of winning even though we were the underdogs, we have complete confidence that we can beat any team. Q: Were you nervous when you saw who your opponent was? A: Not really. I was more excited than nervous. Although I have tons of respect for WHITE and their players I still know what I am capable of. More often than not when I am up against a good player it brings the best out of me and going in to the match as the underdog only added more fuel to the fire and made me keep focus on my gameplan. Q: You played on Neon Moon Glaive, have you got much experience with it? A: The only experience I have had with Neo Moon Glaive was during this week when I practised it. Not having played it before I felt quite uncomfortable when I began to practise it. Also, I looked at the race statistics on it which showed 86.7% winrate in favour for Zerg versus Protoss so that made me a bit worried at first. But after many games I gradually became familiar with it and felt more confident after each game. Q: Moving forward, what matchup would you like to get; what's your strongest matchup? A: Although I have been tilting a bit in my PvP lately I still consider it to be my strongest matchup. However, my PvZ is a matchup I have become very confident in due to practising a lot with monstrous and experienced zerg players like Naugrim, WhistleR, Kamezerg and JerryK97, which I would like to thank for not only beating me up this entire week, but also for their time and great knowledge. Furthermore, my man Favorit deserves a mention too since he showed me how to play gosu PvZ. Because of all this I can safely say that my PvZ is not far away from being my best match up. Q: You've been selected as man of the match, any words for your fans? A: I would like to give a special shoutout to my beloved brother Elyk. And thank you to everyone that supports.
