Is that no longer being offered? That's a mistake editing the news, thanks for pointing this out. Qualified players for the main event will get all the travel and hotel expenses fully covered by ESL Italy.

Trutacz, KenZy, Bonyth, eonzerg, Dewalt, kogeT are players to consider for invites (sorry if I'm forgetting anyone) before the old schoolers. But again this is up to the organizers and I think there's a risk they'll invite fan favorites rather than the top players outside of korea.

I guess there are few possible factors that could determine who may get such invitation: - Current skill - Achievments - Popularity/Recognition - Equal race distribution in the tournament - Targeting specific market (country) I dont think that past activity it self matters anyhow.

Sorry, but no one of them deserves invites, even if they have highest skill outside of korea, it is still very low. Only qualifiers should say who deserves it.

Eonzerg, Trutacz, Kenzy, Bonyth, Scan just did more for the community these last years.

What if the only reason ESL Italy is making this event if cuz ret draco nony and more old school players are back to remastered ? then we must be extremely grateful, anyone invite deserves it cuz the organisers decided it.Personally its my dream to play an offline event and its up to me getting further in quals to get it.We will see ![]() Well spx lets hope u dont face sziky in round 1 in every qual, otherwise i think u will think a bit different :D that said, lets hope someone (BLIZZARD LOVE LETTER) one day think about the loyal players that keep training improving and make a f*cking event for us :D

Well, convenient that he doesn't have to if he's invited. But now the rules clearly state that two european players will be invited, in that case, I think it's only fair that these two people should be picked based on highest individual skill (in terms of foreigners, they can't compare to koreans I know) not on merits from the past.
