Because it reminded everyone of every long boring seemingly pointless TvT they've ever seen. 
It's like Jennifer Aniston... watching one of her bad romantic comedies makes you hate the entire genre with a passion... even though every rom com is not a terrible Jennifer Aniston movie.

TvTs makes very unsatisfying ends to series. I feel unfulfilled that it had to end on this note.

No Ssak. He was really far ahead in economy and production. Instead of expanding, waiting 5 minutes and just rolling over Piano he decided to pull SCVs when he didn't have a significant advantage in tank numbers...

Though you're right, maybe if those imbalanced gas geysers didn't allow Protoss to build assimilators Flash wouldn't have had his victory stolen. That or if he didn't get beat up by largely map agnostic Zealot pumps both times.

I missed it as I was playing Zelda, but after hearing there was an amazing TvT I need to watch the vods!
TvT is still my favourite matchup and honestly to me it's the most exciting so this long one should be a good watch if so many people are complaining about it!

Aztec was not an ace map. Flash wouldn't have to play on that P-favoured monstrosity if his teammates didn't go 0-3 vs s2 (of all people!) in WL finals.
As for Chain Reaction, if I recall correctly, it was not chosen by KeSPA, but by SKT. A pretty good reward, you could say, for having the best score out of all teams after first 3 rounds of PL. Had KTFlash done better before the play-offs, they'd get favourable 7th map for them.

Hunters map is a terrible choice for 2v2 set, since day 1 i was excited to see some cool 2v2's but its always hunters, the map that give you the least number of possibilities in build orders.

I have to agree. Altough I am/was a 2on2 player myself, I really dislike the 2on2 atm. It is so stale because of Hunters and feels like it is already decided by the spawns.
Let them play 2on2 on CB or FS and we will see much better 2on2s.
