Granted, I think players get a lot of extra balloons from fans when they win, but this isn't a no brainer "extra $100K" kind of thing.

Do we know what the finances of being a BW streamer actually look like? I know that on Twitch there are certain things like donations and subs where you split part of the sub with Twitch, but I don't know much/anything about BW straemers.

Not trying to dis Flash whatsoever, but, even as much as I like him, I don't think he gave his whole life to please his fans. There was a strong economic component too... as well there should be, given the hours and dedication he puts in.
I dunno... at the end of the day, he is only 24 years old, and sometimes ppl that young make decisions based on reaction/emotions, rather than taking everything into account. I hope he takes everything into account before declaring, "I'm out!".

He might be 24 but he's been in the industry for 9 years now, so I'm sure he'll be mature enough to make those sorts of big decisions.
