all it takes is just for the right moment. Rock has done so well in the ODT, hes gone up to the quarterfinals of the OSL. To win a league hes got to a. get past his horrible % vs Z (which he has proven he can recently) b. not run into zergs IPXZerg was just a zerg until he started winning. Bisu was just another toss. So when you look at a player and say they cant go far, its not because they havent had the ability, they havent had the chance to proove themselves yet. | ||

I think they got a bit hurried when Nada won his 3:d OSL title and had to come up with something quick. Basically, no one will win 7 fucking OSL titles, it's just silly. But I guess it's better to have the prizes than not having them. | ||

Like if NaDa won a SC2 OSL, itd still be OSL and hed still have 4OSL titles, it never stated it has to be SC anywhere. So maybe he just needs to win 4 more OSL in SC2, lol. | ||

Something like that might happen, or start off slow with 1 sc2 league, and grow as it gets bigger. halo 3 hasn't been out for even 6 months yet. but it's true that the halo 2 professional scene did not immediately disappear. im pretty sure that 2008 will be almost all halo 3 though. so i think it took about 3-4 months for a total switch. but as far as SC and SC2, well, there are no pro SC players outside of china/korea. so i'd imagine within the first 6 months or so, SC2 players will join professional teams in North America/Europe. as for the koreans, what happened with halo 2 and halo 3 is irrelevant to them. though i think your prediction that SC leagues will continue and SC2 will start off with 1 league and then respond to the fans is correct. | ||
