Other players who don't want to play for that team ( like Marwin, i believe?) can and do play for other teams, he plays for Sweden atm. So i don't see a problem, Sea and Werdi can choose if the want to play for russia or not. The issue is, that many smaller countries close to russia will likely not be able to field a team of their own and thus the players have little choice. But in this case, i think the TO will allow to join a european merged team perhaps? | ||

also, if this is still called a nation war, the purpose to getting as many as active players to participate is good. but you cant get all of them in fact. for those countries have not enough players to fill into a roster, no offense but sorry, it is your own problem, nothing to do with other countries. if Portugal loses in the world cup qualifier, do you think FIFA admins will let C Ronald to play for another country that qualified? | ||

I don't agree with you. I strongly disagree. This is not football and this is not FIFA. Calll it wathever you want, because merged teams have been a reality in all the past NW. If your country has plenty of players thats good for you. The rest of the world who doesn't have that luck should just sit and blame his country for not having enough players. Who have helped you to reach that conclusion? | ||

There is only one merged team, other teams currently do not have that option. The Organization's stance on what the teams are has been clearly laid out. The organization has made interventions where interventions have been required (such as the Nizzy situation). Else, we haven't maintained a watch on the events while giving the team leaders the freedom to organize themselves. | ||

We appreciate the input and we have taken it into consideration, however, the decision to have a merged team remains in order to promote additional activity. It's not an ideal scenario, but we judge it to be a necessary scenario. | ||

I just dont get why admins not separate the regions themselves before making the nation war announcement to make this simple and clear. | ||

The difference is that the previous event already told you before from which countries you could pick. However, on page one questions about that topic were not wanted "by the organization" "as it isn't particularly inspiring and doesn't contribute to anything positive". | ||
