Captains please PM me if your team wins alongside a link to the replays from that weeks matches (so I can send them on to streamers if they wish)
Games must be played on Fish at LAN Latency
Games will have a deadline of 1-2 weeks to get finished to allow for people in different timezones to play each other, but a new game will be put up each week
Replays from the winning team must be in before the deadline set else the occur a map penalty.
There is no set time for the games, so if you need a PP please speak to your captain to organise it for you
If a player disconnects then both players can decide amongst themselves if they regame or not. If no decision is made then the game will go to the person who didn't DC.
Amongst your teams decide what your smurf account is going to be (e.g. KT_Flash) then on that account play every proleague game on it in order to hide your identity.
Usernames amongst teams must be uniform. I understand KT_x may be taken so come up with another imaginative tag to go infront of your name.
Your smurf names must be names of players who have played for the team you're on any time up to the Shinhan Bank Proleague 10-11 season
Do NOT under any circumstances let slip to anyone not on your team who the other players on your team are
Do NOT under any circumstances contact any other player asking what team they're on and what ID they're using
The race you play must be the same race as the player you're deciding to Smurf as in the tournament (so no Z Flash's)
just give your captains times you can play, they'll convine with the other captain and get back to you with a time you can both play so you can agree on
Captains I expect you all to be in contact with each other, but don't give away the ID you'll be playing under.
Submissions must be made a week in advance to the games initial start date.

Right now STPL needs captains for the teams. The captains are the glue that holds this entire operation together and without good captains who are willing to be organised and put in a fair share of time to help me this isn't going to work, like it didn't last time. I need 7-9 captains and I need you to sign up in the thread by putting your name next to this list:

When you've signed up I'm going to PM you my skype where you'll need to add me and we'll get all the captains together. Remember don't sign up to be a captain unless your completely commited. Once we have the captains sorted and the organisation sorted I'll open signups to players and well start soon after. My Streaming program I developed has come on really far and I have it nearly complete so I'll be streaming all the games I can and I'll need a team of two casters to stream with me. The format worked in the past and this was only last September. My issue was that I got everyone to sign up before we even had team captains. Some people who signed up to be a team captain after that were relatively inactive and impossible to contact which meant by the time we got our feet off the ground everyone had already lost interest. This time, getting the captains and having them active removes the vast majority of risks we had last time after people signed up. When it comes to actually having players signup, I'm going to get them to PM the captain directly, that way it removes another issue I had before where some players only spoke through me and not to their captains which was stupid.

I wrote it, well I'm still writing it. I started writing it last year and had a complete mess of a first iteration that somehow worked, you can see how it worked last time here:
Before I had to do the majority of chopping and changing myself, I had to add the text to all the displays individually via OBS and it took me forever to do anything. Now my Stream Helper does it for me. You can see how it works now in this video:
The resolution can be modified, but I'm on my first or second iteration and I'm finishing it off for my University final project so for now I'm going to stick to having it work the way I want it for STPL. My final goal would be to release this standalone and give people the ability to make this work for their own tournaments, but right now that's a bit beyond my level.
I'd love to participate, but I'm also a bit worried about the activity.
Nine seems like an impossible number of teams to fill up and keep active throughout the season. I'd rather have half the teams if it means having the active season with as few of the WO's as possible.

Well my plan was to get 9 captains, then see what happens player wise. I can add "merged" teams to my Database and all it means is you'd have an SC2 proleague like scenario of two or even three teams joining together to form a group. I went with 10 teams to start with purely to see how many captains I could get. The more captains (aka really active people) the better for me.
So currently I'm sitting with 3, maybe 4 captains.
If the fourth captain gets in contact then I'll start opening signups for players for those teams and we'lll get started, untill then I'm still looking for a fourth captain.
Ok so with that fourth confirmed captain we can now get looking for players and get this underway soon hopefully!
If you wish to signup, please pick a player from either of these teams and send a pm including the player you want to intend to play as and your skype name and then post in the thread saying you're playing.
For example if I wanted to play as Flash I'd send Nina this PM:

Your new captain will then sort everything else out with you and once we have atleast 5 players on each team, we'll get started! Unfortunately for now Oz is closing it's doors as they've already got a group of 6 people.SKT, KT, Stars (for players) and all the other teams are available to join if you're willing to captain them!
We've got 5 on SKT now, 6 on Oz, 2 on STARS and KT I'm not sure about. Within the next few days I'm going to set up a game between SKT and Oz and hope that we get some more people signing up to STARS and KT shortly so we can get started properly.

I discussed with Qikz, I don't think it'd be beneficial to delay the start time of the league even if to add another team, so start whenever all 4 teams are full, if there happen to be too many players without a team, I'll form a team from those players.

If it's pre-season, don't see why games can't be played whenever. Best to keep players occupied before they stop keeping track of this and lose interest. Do some interesting stuff until the season starts, like some sweet Hunger Games BW-style, where the loser is tracked down and brutally murdered for losing a computer game given encouragement to play better for the upcoming season.
I think it could be cool to have some kind of King of the Hill type event. That is, if each team could gather 4-5 players to play on the same day.
If a player beats one player from each team, he gets subbed out and someone from his team attempts to repeat. It would differ a little bit from the season format, so the season would still feel fresh for all players.
Khan pretty much has enough players, we're obviously not proven yet as far as activity however, so if anyone still wants to join, I have some bench slots! (I know... It sounds exciting)

You should try to release the schedule for round 1 before the pre-season is over, so that (if necessary), teams can pre-play games for the first week (assuming it's allowed).
I also don't think we'll get enough sign ups for another team soon enough, anyone else who posts in the thread should be used as possible replacements for inactivity or to add another team at the end of round 1? The logistics of this would have to be discussed among all of the team leaders.
