I suspect Last pulled too many SCV's to support his two facs anymore. Breakt out was kind of well microed from Guemchi as well. That opening didn't make a whole lot of sense from both sides though...

last pulled too many scvs during it and was cutting scvs at home to constantly produce from 2 fact. since he had no scvs, he was all in on the contain. another thing was that last overcommitted with all of his tanks at low health. he had like 4 tanks all in the red but never repaired them. so when guemchi did the double zealot reaver drop behind the contain to do a pinsir attack with goons on the highground, the tanks melted.

that last game was sick as shit though. lmao BW is hilarious still.

Can anyone knowledgeable comment on Sayle's opinion about why Guemchi did that build? I thought it was really fun to watch and interesting to think about. What I understood is that Sayle said that considering the shorter than normal rush distance (for marines/scvs) on Sin Peaks of Baekdu, the only way to safely 12 nexus would be use a forge build. And then he said that he thought that was a bad idea and better just not 12 nexus.

But what I liked about it is that, in a way, it's a non-cheesy 12 nexus! In the sense that you are sure not to die to a bunker rush, it's just not a gamble and I thought that was really cool. More than that, the downside of cannons, vulnerability to tanks, seemed to be partially nullified by the fact that the tanks had to take a longer route to get to the natural. That being said I'm a noob and I haven't played in forever, just excited by what Sonic is doing! Would people say that this build could be used again by Guemchi?

I'm inclined to think that Guemchi used that game as inspiration, even the placements of the robo + robo bay are the same. However, I think Nal_ra's gate placement had better cannon protection.

What a hold by Guemchi, to think he only rebuilt his core after the contain collapsed o.o

Also, Hero and Movie looked awful in their respective matches. Hero just died after his sunken line went down and Movie's army control didn't looked sloppy.

Good for Mong and Ssak tho.
