Before this tournament I would easily have said Midas looks better than Oov right now, but that's not true at all. Oov is much stronger than Midas. As I watched those games I kept thinking "How can Boxer look up to you for your mechanics?" Boxer right now, right at this moment, is probably a stronger player than Midas right at this moment even though Boxer's now in the army. All the people who beat Midas played well. I'm not discrediting them. M1-Chobo looked really nice against Midas. He timed that attack perfectly. I'm not trying to say "well they didn't beat Midas when playing in top form" because beating an S-class progamer in a tournament with money on the line is never easy. NEVER easy. But do I really think Midas is the best TvP in the world after seeing those results? No. | ||

Watch the Draco vs Midas games or any games where Midas is under pressure. That's where you can see his superior execution. The rest of the games, it seems he had those lack-luster cocky attitudes. | ||

but in the group stage match lamer vs leg that was amazing from lamer i was watching rep with 8x i thought he is going 1 fact FE cuz he had 1 tank 4-5 rines and 1 bike(tasteless  ) and atacking 3 goons but out of noware 4 vultures were passing 2 goons he made 2 fact BO that was amazing i never saw something like that maybe because i play zerg dunno was very impressive for me | ||

I'm well aware of his accomplishments. I expect better. If I'm playing people well below my level, I'm still going to multitask properly. There's just no excuseexcept for maybe bad health, which I doubt. Midas did not play up to par and I am quite confident now that Oov is a vastly superior gamer. If you asked me 1 week ago, I would have said Midas was better. Oov clearly wasn't putting in 100% effort either, but you can see the huge skill difference between Oov and the non-Koreans. In the games Midas played, there is very little skill difference between his gaming and the non-Koreans he is playing. | ||

oov is an amazingly nice and mannered guy though. I think he was just being nice when he said he practiced a lot for WCG. Because they just did random SKT1 marine tank builds. And that's a build you use when you haven't practiced that much and are just going to play a straight up good and fairly safe build. | ||

Isn't that all they really need to do anyways? Anyways Nick, just for my own curiosity, does oov speak English? Good English? I've always loved oov since he's the cockiest progamer around in his gamestyle, but intersting to hear he's really gm too. ^_^ | ||

He speaks small broken english, but better than the others. And he's just a really great person imo. Nice, and funny too actually. But yeah ET, he's really nice. If I were in korea, i'd be an oov fan. Perhaps the nicest of all the koreans i've met. You can just tell, he's a good person. He kicked ass at the gladiator game as well. Mine especially. lol lol, now that i've made this post there's going to be future reports of him in a drug and prostitution ring or something terrible like that. Totally negating my post. But nah, he kicks ass. | ||
