I just know that, 10 years ago, talking like he does now, a couple of older kids would've beaten the shit out of me. err.. btw I hope it doesn't look like I'm saying OMG SEA BOW DOWN BEFORE YOUR ELDERS, he can do what he wants I guess if nobody around him complains, but it just struck me that the image I had of him as a quiet kid with good SC skills.. was completely off track. anyway .. uh go go MBC. SK has won enough already. maybe they are more like family? =P

But after watching several OGN live shows regarding the proleague leading up to the final IMO (based on what I've seen three shows or so) he's more like an obnoxious little prick with no respect. Maybe I'm just old fashioned :/ . For example.. anybody your age or younger you can call "너" that's "you". If you are a guy, any older guy would be called "형" girl would be "누나" (if you're female it would be "오빠" "언니" respectively). In one of the shows he shouts at Pusan 너는 박지호다 (you are Pusan). I guess it was a shout of encouragement, but if anybody five years younger (sea was born in 1990, pusan in 1985) than me called me "너" I'd be pissed. This might not seem like a big deal if you're not korean, but it's a big deal here. I've seen fights and beatings break out back in middle school because of incorrectly used terminology .. and we're talking about 1 or 2 years here. There was another instance during the game vs CJ where Jy was beating some MBC player and somebody on the MBC bench said "야 장육 잘하네" (Hey, Jy plays well) .. Sea responds " 걔 원래 잘해" (he's good). The comment itself seems innocent, but his use of "걔" is a bit annoying. Like "너" "걔" is used to refer to a 3rd person, but only somebody who is your age or younger. Jy is 2 years older than Sea and there is really no way he didn't know that. I guess we can look over this since it was supposed to be a private conversation anyway. I can't think of anymore specific instances, but the general impression I got, from his speech and actions is that the fame and his skills have gotten a bit to his head. I don't expect him to be humble, but sometimes there are boundaries, especially in a korean society. or maybe I'm just old (compared to these programers anyway) and forgot what it was like being in middle school. I have no idea wtf you just said, about showing respect to your elders in korea. I can't believe 5 years make such a huge difference given that they've been living together for a while, which kinda indicates a peer-like relationship. Does the closeness you have to a particular person have anything to do with it or is it purely age based? You koreans are weird, but yeah I really hope pusan does not win.

For instance, in the recent MBC vs CJ, some zerg went an unexpected fake 1 hatch fast mutalisk into a hidden fast ovie sac tech drop. It was a strategy that won MBC the ticket to this very match today.
