Resetting stats is relatively pointless as dodging has been officially disallowed as well. The only gain from resetting is free points if you've lost a lot of games - that's not fair, in my eyes. It creates artificial point inflation as well. | ||

We're still getting a constant flow of applications from all skill levels. Note to everyone: I will be leaving for vacation tomorrow, and am going to a party tonight after packing and cleaning - in other words, I won't be available for about 24 hours. After that point I will remain active during the vacation but with perhaps slightly slower response time. Don't worry - all events will still go as planned, all applications will be accepted (if properly submitted!), and the games will go on ^^; GLHF!! | ||

DAY 10 EVENT The time has come, everyone! Today is the day of the first official [RSL] tournament! Because it is on short notice that this tournament is being posted, I have accounted for only 8 player slots, so sign up soon! There will be no minimum player number - if only 2 players sign up, that's fine ^^ I don't think I should have to say this, but all players must play random for the duration of this tournament. EDIT: Some people did not check in in time and ICCup did not let me generate a new tour, so we are doing it manually. Tournament begins at 06:00 KST. That is 21:00 GMT (+00:00) locally for you. Rules posted in tournament thread: THIS TOUR IS FOR [RSL] PLAYERS ONLY!!! Format: Ro8 Bo1, Ro4 Bo3, Finals Bo3** woops typo. All games must be played in "One on One" mode. All maps are determined by the players. If an agreement cannot be reached, then the maps that will be played have to be MOTW in the order that they are posted on the server when you type in "/motw". Additional prizes: 1st place = 1 win vs. [RSL]Points, non-MotW 2nd place = 1 win 1 loss vs. [RSL]Points, non-MotW (unless this results in a net loss of points, in which case it will be just 1 win). EDIT: Channel for the tour will be "op RSL" | ||

Why bother them with something I can do xP Plus, it's a randomly generated amount (# of wins) that is ergonomic to the flow of the tournament (as in, the more points that are given away and the higher the players' scores are, the impact on those higher players is less than it is on those that are lower, which is interesting imo). DAY 12 EVENT Today's random event is "12. Random player revealed no alias." What this means is that I will be revealing that a certain player is participating in the tournament, but not what their AKA is. The implications of this event are as follows:
