Flash, I hope he isn't too sad. KT won the last 2 years thanks to him, and made 2nd place which is great this year, so even if he lost both his games, he shouldn't feel sad. Of course he's still the greatest of all time.
Yeah that's right, can't win them all I guess. Hope he recovers soon and continues to dominate.

This way, letting it go to ace and defeating Flash twice along the way, had a far more crushing effect, especially since he probably felt responsible that his team lost.
One gem I found while rewatching the last game just now: Right after Bisu defends his proxy Gate from the marines, the observer goes back to Flash's base to see another perfectly placed manner pylon, at which point the commentators go: "... How many hands does Bisu have?! It's like he's playing with four hands."
The best multi-tasker to ever play the game. No competition.
the thing is, in the post-game interviews, the KT coach revealed that flash actually strongly wanted to play in the ace match, when the coach had other players in mind
makes this kinda feel bad for flash, though a player like him should recover soon
I don't think anyone can or should blame Flash for that either. I mean, he is Flash of all people after all. And the ace match between Bisu and Flash gave the grand final the extra touch that made it all even more awesome. The only thing that could have made it more awesome was if Reach went out as ace and won lol. ^^
Best finals series in a long time. Set 2 was a sight to behold, what a change of pace to see Flash being the one constantly one step behind all game.

It was a reasonable choice imo. It was gonna be either him or Stats. And KT has no specific Bisu snipers, given that you can't send a Zerg.
I'm still amazed how well the rest of the team did. Hoejja, playoff god <3
Yeah, I'm glad they sent Flash. I don't think Bisu vs. Stats would have been as fitting for the last BW final.
Last game. Oh my god. That early game micro. If Flash and Bisu were playing anyone other than each other, they would've won based on that alone. Holy shit. And that f*cking game. Oh my god. So epic.

Ouch. Yeah, that's gotta hurt if he insisted on getting the ace match. But in the end, it can happen to anyone. Other players have also gone 0-2 in one day of PL because they got the ace match after a loss. I'm sure he'll be back on his feet in no time.
That being said, I was actually relieved when they announced the ace match players, because I thought KT were going to send out Hoejja again. I couldn't really tell what Best did wrong, which is very scary, considering how badly he got owned. Hoejja was really dangerous today.

The commentators said exactly that thing during the early micro battles. "If they were not facing each other, each of them would have already won by now."

Which is exactly why I posted it =) Shamelessly stealing their thoughts for my own.

The thing with BeSt - he hasn't done anything wrong 'cos he hasn't done anything at all. He let zerg player get his tech and bases chilling. And HoeJJa just happily receive the gift .

Gods, it's been several hours now, and the feeling of happiness hasn't subsided... Don't know if I'll get any work done now.

Yeah, but his BO was pretty standard. He should have punished a greedy Zerg, sure. But at the same time, he had to worry about Hydra busts and Lurkers clearing the temples and going up the ramp. Overall, it seemed to me like he was very far behind just by playing standard.

Thought that if he didn't build a fuckload of Zealots and went for more archon centric army, he could have had a better fighting chance.

Basically my thoughts exactly when watching this, and then again while rewatching it after waking up.

thats big man really big.
I was going to say the same, maybe my word is worth not as much as GTR and other veterans, but i never had as amazing experience contained in 1 match. Even if i am fan of KHAN im glad they didnt went to the finals, it would mean this experience would never exist. You can say im fan of game first fanboy second. I hope i won't get eaten for this later
I had a tear in my eyes when Fanta jumped to the parents after beating Flash in best TvT since MSL. Epic epic epic epic epic. This whole series contained more emotion, vibe and spirit than whole year of SC2 (for me personally). Im not trying to do a sarcastic remark im just saying the truth. I became personally attached while not being really a fan of both teams.
Its really comparable to Jangbi vs Fanta (whats up with this fanta making BW epic :D), it shaped me.
