Yea lol... Stats was on 5 bases for so long time then Baby killed 2 and Stats killed 3rd of Baby. Baby was never ahead maybe at best even because he had army but no expos and no mobility.
well, baby did seem ahead. like i said, if he had had good mine defense or enough turrets to actually kill the arbiter or had been lucky in some other way, i think he would have won. even bases is an advantage for T and he was dominant enough on the map that he was going to be able to be the next to expand. a little bit of thinking about recall defense would have gone a long way, but to say things like baby threw away the game because protoss has recall and it happened to work is just ridiculous.

Lousy day for me. No Flash, only one MBC player was fielded and he lost badly.
Hopefully they find a sponsor and do a lot better next season, if there is a next season.
Seriously they need better practice environment and more practice partners, to have a fantastic player like Sea play on that level is just incredibly bad for the entire scene. It is a miracle that Jaedong performes as well as he does.
They should buy proper beds or at least mattresses for the players. I know Koreans are used to sleeping on the floor but these players had well-furnished hostels in the past. Can't be easy living in a place with close to no furnishings.
Sea is in horrible mental form, in fact T8 appears to be good old JD Oz again, no matter who you put in there Sea, Baby? If Jaehoon looks reliable in comparison with the rest, what can you tell about the team perspectives? But that's an old and painful story. Nice games today, gg

baby is so streaky, which hasn't helped the team. started out 4-0, then went 4-4, now closed it out 0-3.

Only 3 bases were mining though. He put down many nexus but didnt get to mine.

Kind of reflects the mental state of the whole team. Despite what Jaedong said in an interview, I still think the players are terribly low on confidence.
Well as you may all have seen, all what is needed for ANY team to get to playoffs are two STABLE players.
T8 had all the deck on its hands, why did Sea underperformed so horrendously, why Baby could not catch up with his momentum once again, and why JD did lose those unnecessary games? (but I would not put it all on JD, honestly) Sea could have been that second "Stats" for T8 and we would join the fun in playoffs, fuck! JD OZ strikes again.

It feels like I'm going through so much unnecessary pain (yes, pain) by being first a fan of OZ and then T8, I should just hop on the SKT or KT bandwagons. Atleast they can just buy their way through if something goes wrong.

Honestly, I don't think they would last in the PO, they're already struggling with Bo5, I don't think they'd do any better in a Bo7 :/

Being in the POs is good for team morale, also good for sponsorship potential.

As Pro7ect did say in his stream, Baby HAD to do something FAST with his push, not just kill off two expos, but to disintegrate the production facilities of a toss, its hard to do with an army up the ramp shielded by arbiter and protecting the middle expo at the same time from all the possible directions. I'm not talking about 6 oclock, that Baby simply could not save technically. Stats is a good toss and being a good toss in that situation is recalling all your chit to terran base, crumpling his production and halting the push even further.

You are merely suggesting a what if scenario, many factors can play apart in to individuals of the team not performing well, the stress of the need to perform well to attract sponsors maybe apart of the problem that is causing them to falter in their performance and also new environment will also take time to adjust . If you are a true fan, you will stick to them even though they maybe feeling down and that's the only thing a fan can do in their power.
