I honestly don't understand people complaining about having to prepare for two different races. If he was a random player they'd have to prepare for three different races. What is wrong with people... people should be able to play whatever race or match up they want.
EDIT: Can we change tourney rules so all players must play terran only? I don't feel like preparing for all three races.

It's because certain people like making map and race specific builds and if they are preparing to play you as Terran on Destination and you just decide to play a different race, then why would they have spent so much time working on that build to snipe you? The whole reason why I announced the Pools and maps and stuff is so people can actually practice specific things to show good games. I thought it was a good idea.

racepicking is not the same as randoming. If there is a random player vs a terran then both players have to do equal amount of work preparing for 3 possible matchups. If its a terran player vs someone who can pick from 2 different races then the terran has to prepare for 2 different possible matchups but then racepicker only has to practice one. The problem isn't the amount of preparation if both players have to prepare the same amount. It becomes a problem when one player has to prepare more than the other player.

Yes, but I asked in in this thread if you look back a few pages if I could pick a certain race vs some players as long as I announced it before entering the game.
Now this has changed and isn't allowed?

So if I say what match ups I am playing does that mean that I cannot ever random? Phrased differently if I random that means I can never choose a race if I may need to vs a certain player?
