I think I saw Bill Roper watching the games. During JvF I saw him shown on the stream. If so, that is so cool. He is one of the guys who had an important role in the development of SC.

tears in my fucking eyes after watching this. 2nd set match loss was too painful. i dont know how he keeps his composure after that game. I would have gone ballistic.

edit:

can someone tell me why the 2 hatch was a greedy build? is it because he skimped on the sunken colonies?

btw...second game was a heartbreak. What Jaedong needs now is Coach Cho to rebuild his confidence. When Coach Cho was still managing Oz, Jaedong's confidence was through the roof, while after he left, there were more and more cases where Jaedong would say that during broadcasted matches he would make mistakes he never makes in practice. It's all about confidence.

I mean...Jaedong not practicing? Is that in some parallel universe :D?

Team 8 plays CJ next, I dont think their losing streak is really attracting any sponsors or fans at all. They must win

Am I the only one that remembers the last two* games of FvJ? Iirc Jaedong pretty much won them with 2 or 3 hatch muta + ling runbies. Not exactly the most classy way to win either, and pretty much the zerg equivalent - if you can call it that - to what Flash did to JD today.

Personally I enjoy quick and dirty games once in a while.

*Might not have been the last two games, but at least two of their last 4.

It was a 3 Hatch muta build, he didn't think he needed defense since it was cross position et all. In hindsight he should've probably put down 1-2 sunken when his scouting lings were killed by the 8(? i think he saw 6 and 2 just followed) and not morph them, then even with 1 he should've been able to defend it, it was really really close.
Maybe even pulling Drones would've sufficed. I wouldn't even say he was all that greedy, it's a pretty standard build, just scouting and lack of reaction.
Maybe blocking the scouting SCV from entering the base wasn't a good tradeoff too, i don't really know that much about Z :{ (sure he didn't want his build scouted but tying up 3 of 4 lings for that, lack of scouting info killed him).

Holy hell on earth. I think baby losing to stats is the bigger disappointment here. He kind of stinks this season.

Just one week ago (okay, 9 days) people were high-fiving each other over how great baby was performing, takes but a few days to fall from grace eh.
Seriously it's a 3game losing streak after 4 straight wins, cut the boy some slack.

Holiday time seemed to screw a few teams/players over quite a bit.

Just caught up on the games... not that any of the matches weren't depressing... but omg that second match I am speechless. Jaedong looked ready to assault his monitor.

I AM JUST SO ANGRY. Somehow I knew this would happen when I saw the 11 minute duration of the VOD. Flash does sunken bust into instawin...he even killed the last zerg he played with this build. Why would you go three hatch muta, lose lings, then not build sunkens? I was screaming at the monitor BUILD THE DAMN SUNKENS JAEDONG you know Flash has units and you don't yet. No one is going to sponsor your team if you lose to sunken bust.

Just watched the first game. I don't think coaches are going to send P's on Outlier anymore. When you gotta make enough canons to defend against a tier 1 all-in at 2 locations, assuming you scout it in time, you won't have any money left for tech or gateways.

What you have to do is place a scouting pylon by the back entrance (similar to maps like Medusa), especially when you scout the zerg going for a hydra bust instead of a spire.
