How did he win though? It seemed that the builds are completely mirrored. How did he get the advantage that allowed him to snipe the shuttle?
What I gathered from Kimoleon's translations was that because jangbi's range was faster he was able to bully Best into taking a slower expo. Then the long distances in the map negated any early robo timing that might have existed on a smaller map so Jangbi was fairly safe with a marginally superior build even with the vulnerability of a faster expo. Then well we saw what happened.

scarab's and goon's somewhat unpredictable movements do make PvPs somewhat unpredictable though

? hardly made a difference. jangbi's micro was just far superior. best should've taken faster initiative when his two reavers were in front of jangbi's army but jangbi's shuttle arrived just after the first shots. best just then let his reavers shoot and run
jangbi's goon micro was spot on and focused and needless to say, jangbi;s shuttle micro.
best was also very clumped in this odd diagonal - never optimal

Oh and STX totally taking down T1!

He had he range faster, able to force a slower expo and get hsi tech quicker.
Albeit you're right the micro was the difference.

lol range was only seconds off, jangbi didnt force a slower expo, after his initial 2 goon dance, best was just afraid and by then jangbi was long gone gaurding his natural.
and on the contrary, best's reavers came first, again only by about 20ish seconds which is why he had the stronger initiative in the battle

I agree that Jangbi had a decent econ lead. But the cross position goes both ways. Jangbi had to travel across the map to attack, and the engagement IIRC happened near Best's natural. So he should've had an extra round of units.
I think it's safe to say Jangbi's control is just on another level compared to Best. That engagement shouldn't have been so one-sided.

Yes but a slower expo and tech don't matter much when the armies are equivalent.
Jangbi manned up in a fight where they had basically equal armies, and crushed him. Simple.
