PLAYOFFS!! SPL style like round 1 Final standings 1) LRM 2) Gt 3) sasnb 4) vTv 5) AoV
Alright ladies and gentlemen, this is what we've all been waiting for, this is where it counts, playoff time is here! Who will claim the first Gambit's Cup title?
First up, in the quarter finals, the very talented veterans will go head to head with the avatars of victory in what should be a great clan war considering that vTv and AoV each have taken a win in their head to head clan wars. We can only hope to see an ace match played with MaD and Byul.
Next up, we will have a match between the sasnoobs and the Gambit Team which should prove to be a great semi-final match up. These teams also have a 1-1 head to head record with sasnb just barely taking the SPL style match with a score of 4-3
Our second semi-final match will be between LRM and the quarter final qualifier. LRM has defeated both of these teams with a score of 4-0 in both rounds of the regular season. I think it's safe to say that LRM is the very strong favorite in either of the possible matches.
This is the most important match of the entire tournament. This is where heroes will be made and the weak shall fall. Though, our semi-final matches haven't been completed yet, so I can't hype this very much. The final will take place on two days, if the clan wars are split, one a piece, there will be one final deciding match for the title.
So... LRM) vs who in finals? I'm actually going to watch the entire cast of Gt vs sasnb whilst managing LRM) vs AoV/vTv because that match is gonna be really, really close.
Edit: Good luck to both teams. Personally I'd hope for Gt to win given the nature of the management history.

Because for 1, winners league is much different from regular. Thus Michael and southpark wont be able to get 2 kills each.

3, most people would expect sasnb to win.
I mean, yes Andrey beat Sziky, however, do I think he can do it again? I'd probably say no.
Now, with that being said. I'm not sure that sasNb will defeat Gt and I have much respect for Gt, but there is no way in hell Gt is favored in this matchup, being the underdog doesn't mean you're going to lose, just means the odds of you winning are lower than that of sasnb.

Would it be a good idea to make it a Bo3 tiebreak rather than a Bo1? I can see a 1-1 situation happening quite easily, so deciding the overall winner with a Bo1 seems a bit silly.

1) There were 5 teams, no one got dq'd 2) One of the teams lost their manager near the end of the season due to internet issues... 3) Its the first season 4) I have no control over who decides to abuse, just because iCC-CL doesn't have any counter abuse to it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen there too. 5) iCC-CL doesn't even get 10% of the views this league does.

What you're doing isn't criticism, its called flaming. Also, SL was never officially signed up for the league, they were never disqualified, they just never paid to sign themselves up.
Edit: You're comparing a first season league to a league thats been around for countless seasons and you argue that GC has more flaws than iccup clan league which may or may not be true, I mean, it's the first season of a league, I didn't expect it to run smoothly all the way through. All I can do is work on fixing them for Season 2.
However, I'd appreciate you'd stop flaming this playoff thread and stayed a bit more on topic.

To be completely honest, I didn't read your blog. Read the part that you wrote, didn't go through the quotes, it was too long. Now that we've got that down, if you can quote a particular case where Game did abuse in Gambit's Cup, I invite you to and appropriate action will be taken.
As of now, I can only see that Game considered abusing for an anonymous clan war on an anonymous date with no proof that he actually did for sure cheat. I'm not happy that he would think about it and I'm not going through your entire blog. I don't understand how you want me to investigate something with no given date or clan war.
Also, the reason that I wanted to trace IPs for vTv is because I knew that vTv.Byul had abused however I had no way of proving it. So no action was taken. Which after reading the intro part of your blog my question was answered.
Also, I honestly don't care if you flame game or the other way around, like you said, people flamed Scan and I didn't care either, but you're accusing me of something that's untrue, I've never aided LRM in anyway, he's not in anyway involved in the organization of the Gambit's Cup.
Fact is, you have no grounds to accuse me of abuse aside from that I have received help in gaining the skills to host such tournaments, your conversation with Zucrow is quite quite funny because yes, TTN suggested 1,2,3 shout and I declined it because I saw no use for it, your team never mentioned the reason for the suggestion.

Honestly JoeKim, I'm not hating on anyone cos I don't really do that, I'm just saying I think people are taking this lightly because they're exhausted with drama in the BW scene, trouble after trouble, argument after argument.
We just wanna chill and enjoy our game, without worrying about stuff like this. BW community knows that we need a positive attitude in order to engineer things going well, so we're trying to overlook this. Not wishing to speak for anyone else too much, but that's how I see it.
I really hope there's a Gambit next season, because this league is cool as hell.

Based on your video interviews I've already established that you're not the brightest bulb of the bunch, but this is just insane. Also, let us use Games own logic against him. Scan abused in the past, banned from ISL2, Game abused in iCCupCL / Possibly GC, he should face the same punishment, alongside anyone else in his clan who actually knew about the abuse.

Check the Skype logs that JoeKim has posted? Ever since you took over LRM), they've been quite shady. It has been shown that you have abused Admin priviledges on iCCup in order to make brackets better for your team, have been asking for smurfs / mercenaries to play for LRM), and beyond that you seem to have no love for your own teammates, calling people like Bakuryu trash, when they're quite a lot better then you. Unless you can refute any of the claims JoeKim has made, or refute his evidence, please just shut the hell up and take the high road.

What Joekim's skype log proves is that he was scrambling for a player and was considering cheating to fill the spot. However, it also proves he didn't cheat in that particular clan war. I have no grounds to ban him on anything he's done in anything I've hosted. iCCup is another story, however, for these finals there will be no opportunity for him to abuse, I'm already taking IPs of the players on both teams and the player shout out system will be made differently and absolutely impossible to abuse on.
Also, don't be so Naive, even if Game is banned, he'll be running the CW on skype with Glory or Jinu.

Now, I let people play in my league until they abuse in my league, I allowed JoeKim and Scan to play even after they had past counts of abuse. To ban LRM)Game would actually show bias. based on my previous decision.

I cheated for the last 4 months that I ran LRM) in a league that was on a server in which I was banned. JoeKim also taught me how to cheat, and supplied me the admin account to do so. But, you guys seem to not be able to understand that my integrity has not been compromised (and never will be) by cheating in a league I was banned from unjustly. If I was as cowardice and abusive as you all say, I promise you I would not only run away with the ISL2 money, but would not have organized so many tournaments and wasted so much of my life keeping the scene that I love alive.

Team Noobs, while a good rival, couldn't even field a team last iCCupCL championship and had to use 2v2 players for 1v1. The reason I don't feel the need for an apology is that my intentions were benevolent.
Also, a TL admin told me if I make a proper response to JoeKim that I'd be banned. Ironic, because he wasn't banned. Moreover, I shall not expose his lies, or make a dramatic blog about it where I conjure up anything to make myself look better, nor will I spam every single website possible.

Scan was caught with one offense (TSL2 giving free wins to Mercury for money). You've had a personal vendetta against him which is also evident in my "edited" Skype logs. You tell everyone that he stream cheated in ISL1, which is why he was banned from ISL2. Scan recorded his ISL1 games with FPVOD, which provide all of his sounds and all of his clicks. He's banned for trying to smurf and qualify for ISL2? Preventing him from playing in any of your Prize Tournaments "forced" him to smurf/share accounts to ultimately win money. Hence, the domino effect takes place. Scan can't play because he's Korean? What are SL]..Bibiane- & Michael(OD)?
Nobody is questioning your contributions, many people including myself have already expressed the gratitude. This downfall drama weighs more with you than with me since I have nothing to lose. At first I wasn't going to reply to a post that consisted of primarily lies, half truths, and a lot of edited text which makes things look out of context. But, you guys seem to not be able to understand that my integrity has not been compromised (and never will be) by cheating in a league I was banned from unjustly. If I was as cowardice and abusive as you all say, I promise you I would not only run away with the ISL2 money, but would not have organized so many tournaments and wasted so much of my life keeping the scene that I love alive.
So if this is your thanks, I'll accept it.
I don't really feel the need to apologize other than to the teams that we beat last season, but I'm quite sure we would've won the last championship and had the a majority of the same results anyway. Team Noobs, while a good rival, couldn't even field a team last iCCupCL championship and had to use 2v2 players for 1v1. The reason I don't feel the need for an apology is that my intentions were benevolent.
Also, a TL admin told me if I make a proper response to JoeKim that I'd be banned. Ironic, because he wasn't banned. Moreover, I shall not expose his lies, or make a dramatic blog about it where I conjure up anything to make myself look better, nor will I spam every single website possible.

Scan was caught with one offense (TSL2 giving free wins to Mercury for money). You've had a personal vendetta against him which is also evident in my "edited" Skype logs. You tell everyone that he stream cheated in ISL1, which is why he was banned from ISL2. Scan recorded his ISL1 games with FPVOD, which provide all of his sounds and all of his clicks. He's banned for trying to smurf and qualify for ISL2? Preventing him from playing in any of your Prize Tournaments "forced" him to smurf/share accounts to ultimately win money. Hence, the domino effect takes place. Scan can't play because he's Korean? What are SL]..Bibiane- & Michael(OD)?
Nobody is questioning your contributions, many people including myself have already expressed the gratitude. This downfall drama weighs more with you than with me since I have nothing to lose. There is no reason for me to "lie" or "edit" the truth, when I can just copy/paste the Skype logs, which is what I did. Sure, blame me for "teaching" you how to cheat because you're taking me down with you, right? exciting playoffs, i'm dying to know who will play for the finals. i sense a lot of zvsz. its uber cool that there is more than 1 final, kind of like sports like hockey, basketball, and baseball. i really think it will be a close series with the W teeder todding both ways. i hope that it will go into the tiebreaker because my heart always races for any overtime events. i dont know how many gamblers are out there but im stoked to bet on these finals. cakepoker or paypal.
the drama seems ridiculous since both are guilty as gamers and team leaders but joekim has no contributions in this community besides ideas. Nb has enough players. I mean, look at LRM, 7 or so active players and they always managed to field a team.
That requires a simple format: The team is an actual "team" The team has competent organization. No offense to SneazeL, but the team lacked the first, and well... Nb...

In the last two matches vs lrm there played only two players from sas. In first one kash and ace playd, in the 2nd sziky and kashu, but you are right without them we would not made it. You are really sad, cant hande that your lose and you try to find some explenation... same as u wanted to tak wo for kashu who was in the toilet or sziky who was afk for 3-4 min. Sas players did really great in gc and im happy that we played in one team. And as fot u game just type gg and stop writeing bullshit

School and a place to live take priority in my life, not a video game.
