IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: There will be NO official referees for the Round of 32. It's pretty simple actually. We do have one person who can be there, but not officially. Aside from that - if you are playing - follow these steps and you should be fine. Obviously follow the tournament rules. Listen to Sayle before anyone starts their matches so he can start casting a match before the replays start being sent in. Michael + GoD and SneazeL + trutaCz you can't start your match until Sayle tests lag with either one of you, and then once he confirms, the other two can start. The winner of each match must submit all of the replays, wins AND losses. Upload all of the replays to sendspace.com and then e-mail the link to isl2replays@gmail.com like you have been doing the entire tournament, but with more emphasis on 100% of the replays being uploaded to sendspace. If there are any major issues, they will be dealt with later on in the day or the next day. Save all SS's if you run into an issue so you have a side to your case besides he said, she said. The reason that there will be no referees is that all of us learned on the same day, roughly around the same time, that we have very important events in our life that need attention far worse than our e-lives. I apologize on behalf of all of the ISL2 staff for this inconvenience, but it's a necessity. The person who will most likely be back from his event first is JoeKim. Hope for the best. And since the majority of you I know on a personal basis, I know this is no major hiccup for you and that there's a very low probability that anything will go wrong since you are all experienced tournament and mannered players. | ||

This is not true - Fe is far away from being perfect build for protos vs zerg - zerg can do so much cheese build orders - is only matter of scouting - if u no scout shanses ur pretty much dead cuz zerg can go muta/ling/hydra/lurk.. so much choice. And you are forgeting something. The element of surprise. When a fe protos see 2hatch play and don't know what is coming they start to play nervous and start making mistakes specially in micro - losing scout probe, first corsair to scourge which is critical, some lonely zeilot, start massive canon build and most of the time they put them selfs in behind by placeing too much canons at front expecting mass lings or too much at expo forgeting key buildings or the mein unprotected for muta/scourge. But yeah in high level the mistakes are not common so that build is not common. They may have weak spot... attack that spot with mutas or make 3rd expo and ur ahead. 2 hatch muta vs fe protos is highy dangerous and hard for zerg to win is the timing/micro and element of surprise that could make you win here. Protos got better shances overall for protect. I even in 1 game destroyed all the mein of the protos (about C/c+ level, so better z than me should do better) and even with 1 base they manage to win cuz i was unsure what to do.. And again most protos fe vs zerg dont expect 2 hatch play.. why dont you make him thing ur all in but ur making hide expo.. Be creative. in most games for zerg the key for succes is deny ur opp scout. | ||
