We had that already. Stupid rules that don't make any sense and just hurt starcraft and the fans, should not be kept!
I would love to hear at least 1 logical and rational reason why they have such a stupid rule in place.
I already gave one. If players were allowed to pause on their own, they could pause in the middle of an intense micro battle or something to mess up their opponent and then claim that their mouse was malfunctioning. If you have to type ppp instead, it both gives the opponent warning and forces the pausing player to interrupt his own play.

Effort PPP'd then. I agree that Shine should have been given that game because he had clearly won but Effort PPP'd and followed the rules.

yeah i definitely think rules that say you can't pause the game to pause the game and you can't redo a game when shitty equipment causes a power outage but you can redo a game because you failed at your muta micro are "ok" - kespa does a great job, that's why you never hear any complaints about them or any assertions that they ruin starcraft whenever they get a chance
