And gets DQ'ed from an advantageous situation?
Nope the game just started . Both players had mirror BOs and Killer just paused the game while players are not allowed to do that unless for a very good reason . He should have tiped p and waited for the referee to pause the game .

I can feel the rage in this thread a lot :D

I already gave one. If players were allowed to pause on their own, they could pause in the middle of an intense micro battle or something to mess up their opponent and then claim that their mouse was malfunctioning. If you have to type ppp instead, it both gives the opponent warning and forces the pausing player to interrupt his own play.
that's ridiculous. you can DQ in that situation and not in a situation that's completely different

I think this is reasonable.
And it's not like he got DQd for P or PPP or PPPP instead of PP, it was a random pause in SoO's face.

Soo will get absolutely demolished if hes sent out in stx masters tomorrow

The PPP instead of self pause rule exists to prevent abuse of pausing at a critical time to screw with your opponent's timing I believe. It seems silly, but that is probably the reason. Edit: Too slow!

Man, those drone and hatch snipes......All in vain.....

i actually like skt, or i did until recently, but i hope oz is downright insulting and bm tomorrow.

My guesses : Fanta has like 30-40% chances to beat Flash. Killer was a big unkown, 15-35. Hydra about 10. soO ? LOL PLZ.

sigh. this is so depressing . i feel so bad for killer hope flash's games make up for this lol is soo sure to meet flash if flash advances???

See, it wasnt killer's mistake. He was pumping lings with 100% of his larva during Soo's ling bust. He reacted correctly.

so you DQ if it's at a critical time. not a hard rule to adjust for circumstance.

Rules are rules get over it and to allow killer to get away for doing the pause without ppp than all the players who in the pass did it should have gotten the same privilege .

The rule is there to deter players from deliberately pausing in mid-game to break the opponent's concentration.

It would be funny if JangBi beats Flash, Soo hydra busts JangBi, and Soo ends up in the final.

fanta has maybe 30-40% chance in any given game. in a 5-game series? much lower.

On August 26 2011 21:43 Invictus wrote: Soo will get absolutely demolished if hes sent out in stx masters tomorrow s2 is much more likely to come out (vs. Z), since soo is a ZvP specialist and SKT already has Fantasy for all their vP needs. So we'll likely see Fantasy, Bisu, s2 and then one of Sun, Ssak, Hyuk.
Anyway, time to watch Flash win, I guess.
