He was super passive. in fact he didnt even really harass at all the entire time and just let jangbi do whatever he wanted. the reason he was able to beat best last week so convincingly was because he took control of the game and made best react to him the whole time, not the other way around.
this has already been discussed earlier. He was mindfucked by Jangba.
Jangbi is the first player to beat Flash in a BoX in just over a year since Jaedong in WCG Korea. First player since Effort 15 months ago to beat Flash in BoX in a Starleague. First time Flash lost in a BoX to a protoss since Sep 2009 to Bisu in WCG Korea. First time since vs Kwanro in July 2009 that Flash lost in a BoX before the finals. First time Flash lost to a protoss in a Starleague since to Stork in Nov 2007. I make this post both to highlight the amazing longevity of Flash's individual league brilliance and to put in perspective how rare of a feat Jangbi just accomplished.
gg wp Jangbi. Nothing sneaky or fluke-ish about this win. Just straight up outplayed and outsmarted Flash the whole way.

You mean besides last season?
No player wins every tournament, Flash doesn't have anything left to prove (especially after pl finals).
Last season he won a SL. I'm not criticizing Flash, of course he doesn't have anything to prove. Even if he does nothing else in his career his name will go down alongside the best of the best. All I'm saying is that being a Flash fan I've been quite spoiled and it's rare that Flash would let a BO3 slip away when he was up 1-0.
Props to Jangbi but man, when I saw that Ro8 it seemed like destiny that Flash would take down his 7th title and become the first guy to 4 OSLs before his surgery.

I'm right there with you. I clicked on the spoilers expecting to see Flash's name in bold. Just once. but instead I'm beaten down by Jangbi's name in bold. Twice. !@#$.
I was so disappointed. Very sad that Flash won't be the first to win 4 OSLs, yet.
i think flash planned to end this in the second set, but he played too pasive and jangbi capitalized, you could see flash face of unconfort when he lost, and in third game you could know he was gonna loose.
You know it was a good thing the atmosphere that night was crazy with the crowd and the loud chanting. Not to mention the last two games (that also brought some loud cheers and screams) and she was there to witness it all. Hopefully it left a great impression and she has half a mind to step in
- The OSL since Flash has been dominating so bad that it was really becoming dry. - Flash who reaaaally need to rest and fix his god damn wrist. I was really worried about him. Winning or not winning this title won't change anything now; he as accomplished more or less every possible thing he could dream of, and he should concentrate on staying in shape and in good health if he doesn't want to retire at 20 yo. - Jangbi, who is an incredibly promising and talented player. I really hope he can win the whole thing now. - Protosses and SC balance in general. They are doing horrible, and to see a protoss beat the best player in the world in a BOX is awesome.

Yes, indeed. The other guy next to her is an executive too so I hope she went there for business purposes and not just to spectate a match. Fingers crossed. And Kespa, whatever terms and conditions Ms Cho wants, just agree to it okay!
Jangbi, what a hero. That last game should be a P textbook on how to play Flash. Instead of letting him get away with early expos and trying to outmacro him, hit him with some nice timings when he's at his weakest.
