So unless Hydra good eye stops working I don't see how he can lose this.

Lately his only notable matches against zergs have been against SKT's thickie twins, Hyuk and soO, and I think I'm not the only one who's not convinced that they didn't throw those games. And seriously, the guy was temporarily sent to the b team just a few months ago for sucking too hard. Which is somehow more shameful considering that he won the previous OSL a few months prior to that. So unless Hydra good eye stops working I don't see how he can lose this. That is not entirely true, Fantasy's unique TvZ is nothing to scoff at. It is entirely plausible for any zerg to succumb to his "gay" builds. However Hydra is not a good opponent for him in this sense as he is good with low eco games and has strong mutalisk control. On the flip side Fantasy is an S class terran and his standard play might be enough to overpower Hydra's not entirely outstanding ZvT. Imho this match will be decided by strategies and preparation and is something to look forward to indeed.

Of course, TvZ is not his strong match-up, but the same has to be said about Hydra. And Fantasy's Bo5 preparation has always been exceptional. He is not the underdog here.

He is not a Proleague-monster like Bisu or Flash, but he is S-class and has been for a long time, and there are not too many players which fall into this category. One gold, two silvers and two semi-final appearances in OSLs alone. Beating Jaedong twice in the PL-grand final in 2009, and pushing Bonjwa-mode-Flash to his very limits during the probably most high-level TvT-series of all time in one MSL-semis last year. This guy is the real deal, just the fact that he cannot control bio properly to save his life does not change this. Of course, TvZ is not his strong match-up, but the same has to be said about Hydra. And Fantasy's Bo5 preparation has always been exceptional. He is not the underdog here. Fantasy is a great player indeed. So great that one may even call him fantastic!

To be quite fair, there's a big difference between OSL/MSL BoXs and other ones. Especially WCG Korea, which IIRC is generally held in the offseason when players aren't that in shape yet. In a high stake BoX vP, he's correct. That was when Flash was fairly new and Stork was considered at the time invincible at PvT. And Flash was Stork's whipping boy for quite a while. 2008 came around and Flash destroyed Stork twice in Bo5 to start his fame as the best TvPer in the world.

But I think that the split format (game 1 played one day, games 2-5 played the next week) favors Fantasy, who's really good at preparing. Does anyone know which it is?
