How could it ruin the best season from a player in proleague history? Of course it would be a blow, but atm there is no player who can expectively beat flash. BeSt was the best choice imho, but flash is just unstoppable.

The only thing I'm disappointed by is the ace match. Not that the game was bad, that Best didn't perform or even that it was a bad choice to pick him. For all I know he has spent the last month exclusively practicing to face Flash. No, it was a rational decision to pick Best. But it was a weak and anti-climatic decision. I'm not even a fan of Bisu but I can recognize that his performance has been absolutely remarkable this year. He has been solid as a rock through the whole year, stayed around a stable 80% win ratio, racked up a string of all-kills and set a new record for the most amount of wins in a season. How you can play like that and not be graced by playing as the ace in the final game of the year is beyond me. Honestly now, relegated to fend off a hydrabust from a mediocre zerg? Is that how you play your trump card that has carried the team through the whole season?

Bisu vs Flash could have been cool, but it could also be one sided like the MST... there are too many what ifs. I just hope Best is alright after all that, that's just rough. Any figures for spectator/viewer count? Venue looked pretty packed, but it's all relative to how big the venue is...

- Bisu has the better mechanics. Best is rusty, Bisu is on top of his game. - Bisu is on a fucking roll this season. Even his PvT was on top. 80 fucking per cent. On the other side Best was slumping. - Bisu has the experience to perform on the biggest stages and proven that he can withstand the pressure. Best not. - Best's streak against Flash is not really relevant for this decision. It is not a Best/Bisu vs. Flash, it is Best/Bisu vs. T or Flash vs. P. This is not like rock, paper, scissors where one player's style is good against A but bad against B. Best's 6-5 against Flash was nothing but a statistical deviation based on some overperformances by Best and some mistakes by Flash. You can't expect that to randomly repeat.

You cant argue that it would put a black mark on bisu's most wins, if he cant beat his closest rival ^^ On August 20 2011 19:38 BLinD-RawR wrote: but isn't MSL resuming only after 11-12 season starts? He probally wont be playing till after round 1 (atleast) or 2 (probally only a part of it if at all), since he had 3 months recovery time on the surgery, afaik thats what it said in the interview atleast

I think its funny that some fans think that they know better than the actual players and coaches do without knowing their practice methods, the month of prep they went through, strategies they considered, etc. BeSt, Bisu, Park and Oov know what they're capable of a lot better than we do; hell they know what KT's players are capable of better than we do. You judge their form without having seen them play in a month (20 days for BeSt) while the coaches base their decisions on daily practice results. BeSt and Bisu know what their strong points are, and the fact that the team decided BeSt should play vs Flash means they calculated that they would have the best chances of winning that way (even if certain fanboys disagree). Your statements of calling the team's decisions cowardly and saying there had to be something wrong with them to make that choice is a huge case of monday morning quarterbacking. SKT got favorable matchups in every game because their coaches spent countless hours calculating how best to approach these games. They know what they are doing, and they (the players and coaches) deserve better for their efforts than to be belittled by fans like you.
