I'm not sure whether he was trying to bait Grape into attacking (dumb, since Grape was ahead economically and therefore supply the whole game) or scared and trying to defend everything at once. Might have worked if his vultures had killed... like, anything, but as it was it was doomed. Light vs Reality. Hey, two good players for a change!
