Will be interested to see who Coach Park uses today. On the one hand I'm sure he wants to give rookies some live experience, while on the other hand he's probably very aware of the unbeaten run SKT's currently on in this round.

i would imagine momentum is really big. also bisu/best have to increase wins

Actually, it *may* be easier than you might expect, depending on what Coach Park's thinking, regarding whether or not to send out a mostly rookie lineup...
Started out as dragoon wars, with M18M having the advantage with better micro.
Sun held with improved micro, but it was enough to set him back. He had the earlier reaver+shuttle as M18M chose to go obs first before robo support bay, but both got sniped, and it was downhill from there.
Man even though SKT took first place they still sending their best lineups out. I think the coach knows who his lineup will be in the finals...........

I'm sure Coach Park is clear on his preferred line-up at this point. It's been pretty obvious for a while now, particularly once the Zergs and Rain starting performing.
We'll see if he continues on this way today, but I can understand if Coach Park elects to play his strongest side. It's important to keep momentum up, and also the likes of BeSt and Bisu don't have the OSL to fall back on for "match fitness" (though MSL Offlines is about to start). Added to that Fantasy's lack of form, and I'm sure he wants to play him as well.
SUMMER PROLEAGUE <3 Best has got 2 carriers out thus far, FBH adding 2 facts, 6 total, and starport Taking bottom right center expo Armory going up, or complete now too
8 facts total CC lifted from the bottom right center that FBH took, to 6 I counted 6 gates for Best, must be more o.o 6? carriers total Going for the armory snipe, and scvs Best pulls out
On June 29 2011 13:37 salito wrote: 4 fact timing for fbh: cause macro tvp is impossible.
tell that to flash
yes, one player in the whole world can play macro tvp. he's 1-4 in his last 5 tvps and the only one he won was when he went fd.
its absurd that you take the last 5 games when flash has been playing for like 4 years now. if you look at pvz before bisu came along it was absolutely pathetic, so its not like you can definitively say macro tvp is impossible.
Vulture gets a probe sent to 11, 2nd probe being sent, sets nexus at 11 nat Vultures run into goons at 11 +1 attack complete for FBH All but 2 vultures lost Archives warping in
FBH loses a lot of vultures for nothing, Starting to slip slightly. Still has a scary army. Carriers seiging 6. Speedlots coming in for flank on gols. Both players back off.
Carriers harassing the scvs at 6, taking out tons Goliaths falling into the choke, only getting shots at interceptors Zealgoon pressing in from the back +2 complete for FBH Carriers pull out from 6
Best taking out tons of carriers, by trapping them in bottom right centre Holy crap, I think he got 2 or 3? 154-145 FBH lost tons of gols though HT are out now Better not clump STORMS Bests ground army falls back, aswell as the carriers 1-3 for FBH 138-128
flank by best carriers from the left, gateway army from left. good storms, annihilates army in the middle of the map. Carriers move down and take out 3 o'clock expansion, loses one carrier. Moving back to middle bottom right expo with carriers, trying to snipe it, scvs hero repair barely keeps it alive.
DT stopping CC at 7 from landing. Gearing up for engagement in the middle. Carriers moving over bottom right middle expo army taking position at middle right. CC at bottom right middle expo goes down to carriers.
FBH moving up north through middle of the map, snipes a carrier, Best retreats, moves down through 3. Big engagement coming. Storms on gols, Best trying to move into FBH's natural. FBH out of position, best getting into the main into production with carriers.
There's something uniquely dangerous about fbh. His career and his individual games resemble weeds that grow back every time you think you've killed them.

He's actually quite close as far as I can tell. I sorted TLPD by team leagues and he has 101 wins, but there are probably a few in there that don't count as regular Proleague wins...do Winners League and Masters Cup count? Can anyone check where FBH is at?
Looks like SKT is at 99 Protoss wins so far. Only 1 more win to make it 100! Take it home, Bisu or Frotoss! (It would be 972389432987493 times more epic if Frotoss took the 100th SKT Protoss win.)

According to TLPD he actually has 101 Team League wins. No idea how much of those are WL though.
If my counting was right 18 WL games, so 83 PL wins. He could still make it. And I think half the reason he's getting so much play is BECAUSE he's on ACE : )

I'm pretty sure he already got 100 PL wins in ACE's previous match? I saw a pic of him getting flowers and everything, I think...
Edit: Yeah, double checking his most recent interview, he's still at 100 PL wins right now.
Shit, I hope this game will be funny as last year's.... LOLOLOLOLOL oh god, this was a match made for the heavens/blessed by the gods or something like that
JyJ, please remember that you can lift your buildings when all of your vessels are sniped and lurkers are attacking everything. You're a Terran, by god. Abuse your imbaness.
Big Marine Medic force bearing down on Ggaemo. Mutas up, but gonna be tough to hold. Getting up additional sunkens to the single one he had. Commentators were going apeshit.

The commentators were like:
"ggaemo has to get more sunkens up! Uh-oh, looks like JyJ's going to attack!" "Oh wait he pulled back, and so did ggaemo!" "Wait, his drone is going back again, is he going to put up that sunken?!??" "Oh look, it's a fake! JyJ's not attacking! The drone is sent back again!!! He's playing mind games!!!!!" "Ahhhh he finally adds more sunkens!!!!"
Add more "AHHHHHHHHHHH"'s and stuff in the middle etc.
Big snipe by ggaemo on science vessel. jyj moving up to 2, lots of lurkers for ggaemo there. Traps and kills reinforcing bio. Nydus pops just in time as jyj pushes him back. cleans up marines. reinforcing army coming.
JyJ taking his mineral only, or trying to Nydus canal being morphed at the creep left at 1, hatchery planted Nydus canceled, to place it closed CJ vs Stars+ Show Spoiler +
SK vs Rush, holy shit, this game was intense
JyJ pressing outside of GGaemo's nat CC under construction by the mineral only No swarm under 3 sunkens GGaemo's nat is BREACHED
Big push into ggaemo's natural, vessel's snipe lurkers, dark swarms are late. Jyj kills all the sunkens and nydus for something like the 5th time. Counterattack by ggaemo ineffectual.
MnM behind the mineral line One evo goes down Marines just walking in Lings trying to counter attack the mineral only Die to a bunker 2nd evo goes down Playgu, doesn't hit much MnFbat moving into 1 GG from GGaemo
Much pressing into the nat Focusing goons, probes pulled off the line Much losing the engagement, pulls out 4th gate for Afrotoss Probe snuck into the main of Much Shield battery was thrown down in Afrotoss' nat
Reaver out for Afrotoss He has the advantage in reaver, and goon count Shuttle reaver moving out now Grandpa toss has an old reaver Crawling slowley Old goon trying to be sneaky, forces Afrotoss to pull back for a moment, split hir forces from what I see on the minimap Chase the old goon we go 2 reavers, shield batter at the nat No shuttle?
Goon trys to get the shuttle; Gets the shields down, and one hit goon lives, barely, so does shuttle reaver Much's goon ofc Afrotoss setting up a pylon at 2 oclock, NEXUS Shuttle out now 2 gates being added for Afrotoss, templar tech is up 3 gates being added for Much Obs scouts the 3rd
Engagement! Reminds me of Stork vs Reach WL on Chupung Rhyung? SP on the map Much loses a single reaver Archon is out, splashing a ton, 2 archons Shuttle gets sniped, so does reaver Much falling back
It's all part of SKT's plan. Coach park doesn't want canata to feel bad, so he's sending out s2 who will (probably) lose. Then bisu gets a chance to play, and doesn't have to feel bad about trashing a former teammate.
S2 has his nat morphing in, pool and gas complete Canata scouting correctly Lair morphing 1 rax CC, bunker getting thrown down S2 doesn't know where Canata is, now he does scouts with a ling
Mutas still causing havoc Lings get in, but are killed off Only 3 turrets at the ant More mutas coming in CC lift Scvs transfer back in Mutas focusing CC, fall back Mutas GET THE CC
Lurkers are complete, burrowed outside of the nat MnM coming to reinforce gets taken out 2 medics live though CC trying to move back to the nat Mutas getting taken out, one or two
Mutalurkerling gets to the MnM, MnM dodge the initial wave of spines 1-1 for bio Tanks are out Canata not having any luck with getting lurkers, finally gets one, 4 left MutaLurk pressing up
All lurkers die No others are out Canata GOGOGOG Mutas popping the turrets at the nat Canata needs to play turret D Creep colony trying to get setup at the nat Sunken morphing now! Canata press in now! Seige complete Sunken goes down Mutas are taking hits, too many medics Mutas beat the MnM? NO GG from S2 CANATA <3

Well, yes he does right what you've said. But why? Wouldn't it have been better for him to expand after destroying Canata's nat?

What are you talking about, Hyuk 3 hat hydras successfully all the time.
Hyuk doesn't win games.
He does the few times he plays vP.
He must have won like 2 or 3 hydras all-ins last year, the rest of his ZvPs were all purely macro-oriented. On the other hand, (almost) every time he tried to muta all-in vs T it was a disaster.
The same happened with Gorush back then, and July, and pretty much all T1 Zergs for some reason. They all-in and fail, especially in ZvT.
basically, s2 didn't cut his losses after canata turret balled, and kept pumping mutas instead of expanding/droning, then threw away a lot of mutas and lost to canata's better econ (even on one base, more mineral intake because s2 had something like 14 drones mining)
canata just holds on when it seems like he should die against mutas. Even the game with action, which is really like 99% action's terrible play, canata held on with mutas flying all over his barracks.

i was always confused when gorush went for all-in's, he was pretty much the management zerg before savior's era.
well if s2 have expanded after destroying canata's nat, he would take 99% control of the game. but he chose the 1% rest that led him to lose. poor s2, you need to improve your zvt for sure.

I don't blame s2 for making more mutas rather than drones and hatcheries. He appeared to be in complete control, and a few more mutas would let him control Canata's barracks.

Nat for Iris now 3rd hatch in base for Soo Iris moving out with 4 marines, no pulls them back Ebay and acadamy are under construction Scv does not get back into the main Lair morphing at nat
Looks like Iris has Mutaling all over his nat Soo is expanding to 12 oclock Iris lost alot of scvs at the nat Loses 2 of the last 3 at the nat Hydra den, and evo are complete Mutas still harssing the scvs Iris moving out

its wednesday, wednesday, gotta watch bw on wednesday. everybody's lookin forwards to the MSL.
I would've liked to have seen Bisu attempt to increase his win record by 1, and Fantasy with a chance to get back to some winning form, but I think Coach Park mixed the line-up up pretty nicely all-in-all.
Ace as competitive as ever. They've had a great season, and I look forward to them progressing further next season.
so skt is so good we've transcended the first place and have now become -1st
booyah!
(damn that would only be half as stupid with the screencap)

yeah i thought about that but basically, there's not a lot to gain from him beating an ACE player (no insult intended, ace are awesome) and losing would be super bad...so better play the other guys

Paralyze already got one against Kal.
From SKT vs Oz Interview :
SKT1’s Protoss line has finished first too. Bisu – I think we finished well because Best and I played as we always have been but Sun was able to follow us well and get a good record too. Sun – I definitely think it’s because of Bisu hyung. Best hyung did well and Paralyze had 1 win too. We only need to win two more times to reach 100 wins so in our remaining games we will work to be the first to reach 100 wins.

Whoa dude... I'm pretty sure Coach Park sent out the newer members of the team instead of Bisu so they could get some proleague experience. It's not really like Bisu needs an esteem bonus in terms of proleague and since SKT is already guaranteed a first place regular season (correct me if I'm wrong) it's a very intelligent and reasonable thing to let your rookies play these matches.

As a Bisu fanboy for life, I'd prefer Bisu have a strong enough team so that he could practice more for SLs. So much wasted potential if he keeps dominating PL but losing early on in the SLs. This match was a good way to give the other SKT1 players valuable TV experience which will pay off later on in PL for the team as a whole (indirectly benefiting Bisu overall).

Um, have you looked at KT's or OZ's roster lately? T1 may put more of a focus on proleague, but that's on the coaches, not the team.
