Hyvaa played incredible. In their first game, it was a 5 pool I believe, which Bisu blocked but lost some mining time (leaving them both about even). After a few minutes hyvaa did a second ling attack that Bisu wasn't expecting, which did quite a bit of damage. They continued to macro for a while, Bisu secured his 3rd, and their armies met in the middle for several encounters, with hyvaa dodging storms like nobody's business, taking care of Bisu's sairs and sniping a shuttle after an ht drop. Game 2 was also very intense, with Bisu ending up winning after some good back and forth. Game 3 was evenly matched, until Bisu got greedy and tried to double expo (at 12 and 9 within a couple mins of each other), hyvaa sniped both expos with lurker/ling while Bisu's army was out of position. After that Bisu kept trying to secure 12 and hyvaa wouldn't let him.
All in all, hyvaa played tremendously. I do hope the vods surface for the prelims games (especially Bisu vs hyvaa), its definitely worth seeing.

I'm shocked that he didn't make it out. Going to see the VODs I guess, Hyvaa must have played well.
Well, seems Jangbi seems to have at least showed a great impression in the OSL Prelims (though I can't really say because honestly, I haven't seen the VODs). Also cool to see 5 Wemade in the ODT so far. Should be interesting to see.

In other news - Black people are good at basket ball. I wish I caught some of the games vs. amateurs. From the LR thread they seem to get owned pretty hard by the progamers.

These "amateurs" would absolutely rape the garden variety foreign gosus (think iccup A-, B level), who in turn, can rape me (C,C+ on iccup). I can also rape a lot of people.
On the other hand, these progamers who raped these amateurs would be absolutely be destroyed by the likes of flash and jaedong.

I'm shocked at the lack of Protoss qualifications. Pleasantly surprised that JangBi made it though the wildcard playoff.

Bisu, why can't you win in the OSL?
Oh well, This is Jangbi's year. He is going to make a comeback and come out of his slump induced by losing 2 MSL finals in a row.

With players like Bisu, Stats and Snow getting eliminated in the prelims it makes me wonder whether protoss is ever going to win another starleague. Kal, Free, Jangbi and Paralyze don't offer much hope. Stork offers a glimmer but he'll need to dodge Flash and most of the zergs.

I'm curious about the maps. I know I saw Bloody Ridge in there but I only watched like two games and it was used for both of them. What were the other ones in play?
