i want flash to beat hydra, so i can see some queens in zvt finals. i've been worrying about jaedong's zvz and zvp since the start of the msl, guess he wasn't prepared as much as i hoped

He plays entertaining starcraft at the highest level of consistency of any zerg. He makes deep runs in every league and has won countless. Why does he have to win every single time? I am proud of him, I learned a long time ago that at some point every player will lose when you don't except it, so what.

Zero has had top top level muta micro since before effort became a house hold name. He plays with artistic flair and if he is able to beat jaedong then he is that much more of a pimp for it. I don't take anything away from jaedong for losing, I give props to zero for being able to beat him!

I watched the match, after looking at results so I knew what was coming. Thoughts:

I had predicted a 3-1 for Jaedong, mostly due to ZerO's tendency to utterly fail at ZvZ, as much as I predicted anything.

Set 1 looked like the sort of game I thought ZerO would manage to squeeze a win out of. BO advantage, JD not expecting it. ZerO gets several OLs which imo was the crucial factor.

Set 2 was vintage JvZ: "omg auto-lose" -> "he held that???" -> victory. ZerO "should have" crumpled after a loss like that; even knowing the results it was a moment of "How on earth did he fight back after taking that loss?". Best game of the night.

Set 3 was ...Jaehoon off-racing Z instead of Jaedong playing, or something. Strategic advantage going into midgame ought to have meant (I think) a fairly normal win for Jaedong, but that one micro catastrophe brought everything crashing down.

Set 4 - I've never seen ZerO out to "just go f-ing kill him" like that before. There wasn't really anything remarkable about it, but for once in his life ZerO played clutch when up in a series and just shut his opponent down. Jaedong maybe wasn't his usual self last night, but the fact that it *was* Jaedong he did it against still counts in a huge way.

I'm a big fan of the Dong, but ZerO is probably the only person which I'm not really disappointed to see him lose to. With his level of play, quite stable and growing better for a long time, he deserves this Starleague final like no one else of the players who haven't yet been there.

I've been waiting on ZerO to finally shine in individual leagues, so this doesn't count as a ridiculous blow to me. As a fanboy, there are times when your number 1 is gonna lose due to whatever and nothing is really stripped away from Jaedong in this case - ZerO pulled an upset and did it showing us some good starcraft. I suppose it would be nice if Jaedong faced Flash again and won a 6th title to tie NaDa but even so we can't all have what we want now can we? Well played ZerO, you deserved it buddy. In my mind Jaedong will still make it deep into whatever league since well, he's still the best zerg in the world, this little shake to his confidence will just make him try and practice even harder than before.

Went to bed after the end of the 4th set, best sleep I've had in months. My absolute favorite player ZerO, the reason I started playing BW and choose zerg, netting a SL finals after so many seasons of underachieving and inconsistency was the best graduation present I got. I can't wait for the finals. Hoping for Flash to clean up Hydra, really want to see a ZerO vs Flash finals to see how Flash deals with the Queen v Mech play. The euphoria I get from watching the vods from last nights games is awesome. So proud to be a Woongjin + KMW fan.
