I thought, I haven't been following this that closely, that eri's list was 1/3rd of the vote, rek's list was 1/3rd of the vote, and the community's list was 1/3rd of the vote. I could be wrong, however. Anyway, I wouldn't expect the maps to come out until the time they walk out the door this afternoon.

Perhaps, you are right though, I missed that part of the info, I thought it was based on votes only, but here is what it says:
"Along with each of the team captains presenting their preferred match-ups, the final and most important part in deciding who will be playing who will be left to Brood War fans. Have your say by voting on what specific player matches you'd like to see in the StarCraft Forums. "
Doesn't say anything about 1/3 1/3 1/3, but "most important part" was the vote... so I dunno.
But with the Beast/Zelotito and Day/Veg votes so close, I'm sure if you guys all talked to Eri/Rek, that you could switch it around and get Beast vs Veg and Zelotito vs Day.
So Veg and Beast PM Drone and Rek right away. ^^

Well I would expect the maps to be released until near the end of the day (otherwise if they were ready and everything they would've been released yesterday), and do remember that Blizzard in the Pacific time zone, so their employees are all still at work.

How popular do you guys think these maps will be? You think they will become part of gaming rotations or is it just going to be a shitty thing they put together last minute

If they delayed the map release 1 day, will they delay the matchs 1 day also? 9 days is already a short time and having 1 day less doesnt seem nice.

I hope these maps aren't like the blizz maps -.- they're terribly unbalanced, and the mineral placement looks like it was done by a drunk monkey. Maybe they're getting Rose.of.Dream to come in :O
