One thing I would have liked to have seen in the game though, was the usage of the infested command center. Although infesting a cc is already very useful per se, I can't help but feel that the byproduct i.e. the infested cc itself is underutilised. I mean, it can be used it so many ways: delay a terran's expo, float it into the main and make infested terrans to harass & kill supply depots (like how terrans can float rax into base and make firebats), give vision, used to form a wall, etc. I also feel that the usage of infested terrans can be incorporated more if you already have an infested cc. One way I thought about using them would be as a pseudo nuke: drop 2 infested terrans on a cc and then have a queen follow up with the infest. Cost-wise, you're spending 200/100 to take down a cc + some (if not most) of its scvs. It's more cost effective than a nuke, you're not spending extra on tech. I think its usage is definitely worth exploring. Sadly, we don't get many games where we even see queen usage in ZvT... I hope more zergs in the proscene start using Queens! | ||
