You guys arguing how many angels can dance on a needle's head. Though they play different styles I would say Light and Flash are equal at TvZ. They are the favourite vs all zergs bar none. Light's play is more fun to watch though.

Jaedong losing to S-class players in PL is nothing new. Even in 2010, I don't think he ever beat Light/Flash/Stork/Bisu in PL but that still didn't stop him from clearly being the 2nd best player.

Flash has a better winrate vs Zerg in just teamlagues as well. 75% in his career vs Light's 70%.

Yeah Hiya! Though looking at both of them, vT winrate isn't their best. Should be intresting to watch.

I think it's somewhat fine to argue that he has the best MnM play, but a statement like this... nah. Come back when he can 3-0 JD in a Bo5.

Flash has incredible Bo5 preparation of course but light's raw TvZ skills are superior to Flash

No he isn't, Flash is a better TvZer in proleague, too. So, Flash is better in series play, in play where you don't know your opponent, in winrate, in elo, AND in gameplay (flash has flabbergasted us at everything for a year now, don't say Light is better because of one fairly well played game). There's absolutely nothing to prove that Light is the better TvZer other than bias.

Light's TvZ pre-2010 was not nearly as consistent as it is now so if you're going to look at a career winrate of course Flash's is higher.

I'm just wondering how anyone can say Light has more raw skill than Flash. I thought it's been known for YEARS that Flash has more raw skill than any player in the game and it was just a matter of him applying him. That's what we saw last year when he literally won everything. I find it plain incomprehensible that you can say an older, less accomplished, less impressive player can be said to have more raw skill.

It's like how not too long ago people were saying Fantasy had the best TvP whenever he won an impressive game, and they'd give all these vague, unsupported reasons. Same with Skyhigh and TvT (this one is closer than others, though). It just doesn't make sense or hold any water, not when you look at individual games, how much they've accomplished in the matchups, innovated in the matchups, how well they play, nothing.

Exactly this. I'm not sure why people seem to forget this but Jaedong has always got his PL wins mostly against lesser players and dominated in series play. His winrate against S-Class and many top A-class players in PL hasn't really ever been that good.

oh come on, Stop your fanboyism, nobody is trying to hurt Flash TvZ dominance, ok? we just saying Light bio standart style is more impressive, and if you wont be lazy and watch some of his vs JD games you'll see it, Flash wins are due to his timing sence and, chit, overall game understanding is waaay better, but in mm he's just good, not something that makes you open your mouth.

Flash actually has a much better winrate vZ for 2010 than Light does if you exclude Effort, who seemed to have some uncanny knack for taking Flash out from being one of his top practice partners, even though his ZvT was not that great overall.

Yeah, and he's been absolutely less impressive than Flash. Didn't he lose to Gorush recently? (though Gorush played well that game iirc). He just...loses more often, to weaker and better opponents alike, and doesn't play at the same level Flash does. He's clearly the #2 TvZer, I just don't get how you can say he has more raw skill when that has been Flash's calling card for years.
