So, Flash is better in series play, in play where you don't know your opponent, in winrate, in elo, AND in gameplay (flash has flabbergasted us at everything for a year now, don't say Light is better because of one fairly well played game). There's absolutely nothing to prove that Light is the better TvZer other than bias. Light's TvZ pre-2010 was not nearly as consistent as it is now so if you're going to look at a career winrate of course Flash's is higher.

It's like how not too long ago people were saying Fantasy had the best TvP whenever he won an impressive game, and they'd give all these vague, unsupported reasons. Same with Skyhigh and TvT (this one is closer than others, though). It just doesn't make sense or hold any water, not when you look at individual games, how much they've accomplished in the matchups, innovated in the matchups, how well they play, nothing.

I'm not sure why people seem to forget this but Jaedong has always got his PL wins mostly against lesser players and dominated in series play. His winrate against S-Class and many top A-class players in PL hasn't really ever been that good.

I thought it's been known for YEARS that Flash has more raw skill than any player in the game and it was just a matter of him applying him. That's what we saw last year when he literally won everything. I find it plain incomprehensible that you can say an older, less accomplished, less impressive player can be said to have more raw skill. Oh give it a rest. People are allowed different opinions.

Flash actually has a much better winrate vZ for 2010 than Light does if you exclude Effort, who seemed to have some uncanny knack for taking Flash out from being one of his top practice partners, even though his ZvT was not that great overall.

Didn't he lose to Gorush recently? (though Gorush played well that game iirc). He just...loses more often, to weaker and better opponents alike, and doesn't play at the same level Flash does. He's clearly the #2 TvZer, I just don't get how you can say he has more raw skill when that has been Flash's calling card for years. I wish I had saved Mr. Hoons gifs of Flash vs Lurkers. He has the most beautiful MnM micro. ![]()
