I think its still difficult to judge, If JD was a robot or a machine AI, you could be right by 100%, but he's just a man, like Kal today, that played like chit, but that doesn't mean he would have lost to a serious player in the same fashion. It all about your mood, your healthy state and many other reasons, that many of us do not count in here, we just want our player to play always good like a bot, that is not happening)

This game his drones quit mining for several minutes, and it took him 20+ minutes to defeat a low ranked Terran who failed a 7rax bunker rush. True, that bunker fail was hilarious. But jaedong really seems to love that lategame hive tech play.

Oh, you were an observer in this game and looking at the drones exclusively? Big maps=longer games, you know? He decided to play more defensively and imo it was a good decision. And his dropship defense was superb. btw: He lost 2 marines in that bunker rush, not more. So he didn't even commit himself to it.

(Zero can play at this level but only sometimes). Hydra, to be frank. Hydra has been a lot more dominant than Jaedong for the entire season, and while I do think Zerg in general suck right now, I wouldn't call that play anywhere near good even by Zerg standards.

Jaedong has always been about staying at the edge, the entire zerg race is like that; One major (maybe even minor) mistake and you're completely dead....and as a spectator with a vested interest in him winning, it gives me a heart attack, but I guess for a neutral fan, the games would be much more entertaining, with the razor thin defenses in this game. I honestly couldn't see any mistakes in that game from JD, other than the idle drones.

Hydra's game against Bogus looked quite bad though. He was in a good position in the mid-game with his crazy-zerg strategy and then blew it with terrible defiler usage.

I don't know whether his aggressive side hasn't stayed as powerful or whether he has worked more on management. But some of Jaedong's best games are the really close walkovers, if that oxymoron makes sense. The games where he just barely kills his opponent - sometimes even Flash - with muta/ling only.

His play wasnt as solid as it used to look, but you cannot demote him to A class when he has hit a bit rougher patch for a while, he is still major favourite to win MSL and I believe he will power through when he will need to. We are talking about Jaedong after all. he doesnt believe in slumps.
