Sadly, a slow week turned into a busy week and I won't be able to have anything good written by tonight. Still hoping I'll get a chance to watch the matches at all. I PM'd hacklebeast to see if he wants to handle Fantasy hype this time.

what I love about calm's ZvT is that he doesnt have the multitasking to run with most top players, and so a lot of the time he goes with builds that rely on tricking the opponent and making them fuck up so that he can get an insurmountable lead. His ZvT always seems to me to be a shining example of "mind over mechanics" in starcraft.
Whenever I see calm get a huge lead and then fail in the late game, it reminds me of almost every ZvT I lose lol. And so whenever I see calm win a game, it just brings me so much joy. The worst part about his slump in 2010 wasnt that he was losing a lot, but he was losing standard games where he never tried to do any cool strategies. As long as he does a cool strategy, even if it fails, I'll be happy :D

I have some wierd feeling that Calm gonna take this series 3-1. We will see tomorow but Calm got an edge on the map pool geting zerg favored maps.

I really think Calm has no chance. Sure, he can pull some amazing all-in, but in terms of macro, I think Fantasy is far superior.
So long as Fantasy plays conservatively, I think he can win against Calm 3-0.

calm macros well and micros well. he just cant multitask that well lol

Calm can't even beat Ssak and he's supposed to beat fantasy? I know fantasy isn't the picture of clutch gaming, but he should have enough to beat Calm.

I'm rooting for Fantasy for this one. I'd like to see a Stork vs Fantasy finals again, because both seem to be fairly strong in their respective match-up.

This is the wrong thread to talk about this, BUT
Modesty looked great in his win over Kal, which is the only reason I could fathom him taking a single game off Stork. On the other hand, which I've said elsewhere, Stork just dismantled killer, princess, then JD.
EDIT: On topic:
I think the Fantasy/Clam series is going to be closer than people expect. I would like Calm to win, but either way I think the finals will be great (IF it's ZvZ let's hope at least ONE of the games goes to hive..)
