Kal wins. Great loses. Anything else can happen, and I don't care. Lots of predictions of KHAN winning. If that reflects LB, I think I'm going to get a boost today
I don't know why but I am excited for KHAN vs ANYONE except for STX. I hope to see Stork vs Calm, TurN vs Frozen, Stork vs Kal and of course our ultimate fantasy to see Tossgirl playing.
I wouldn't be surprised if Tossgirl can beat Juni. I don't get why they keep playing him. He's just terrible. Usually it's Turn, Brave or Reality that they skip to play him which is just insane.

I actually want to see the messy clusterfuzz that is turn Vs z.

Supposedly he is a practice beast and he does have flashes of brilliance but he crumbles horribly under pressure (see vs flash)

Hoping for something cool to happen. Jangbi>Kal would be pretty cool. But STX doesn't have a terran for stork to play against and have a chance, sadly.
I hOpeJangBi can TurN his great slump around and G-rape his opponents again with Sharp storms from Aiur. Because the Reality is that he is a good player, he just needs to play like it again. Stork.
So I just spent the last hour and a half figuring out a way to script windows to automatically switch to this stream at game time and then 3.5 hours later switch to the other stream. It wont automatically update my stream to Oz vs Entus on the sidebar, though; I still need to get an API key from zatic and learn how to use it to do that.
It worked in testing, which means about a 75% chance it wont work in practice and you guys will be staring at a blank screen or kpop come gametime (or FMLE will crash me and you wont even have a stream! =D).

lol He just needs to let go of his mental Birdens.

I'm predicting that Turn doesn't play, Stork loses, Kal wins and Khan loses.
</3
I'm predicting OZ > Hentus
I'm actually hoping Stork wins and Turn plays but I'm still predicting otherwise, based on previous matches... Khan will still most likely lose. As for Oz, I'm not convinced they're back in any way, this match should clear that up.

Here's hoping for a Calm win for my FPL. Will be interesting to see if STX can back up their great last performance.
Juni seems to have the disadvatageous starting position. calm can pressure the main with mutas and natural with lings whilst juni can only attack calms nat.
the narrow area kal is attacking in is causing him to get pwnt by psi storm, but he actually ends up having more goons once the reavers and ht are gone
Nat still operational though, Reaver sitting in the middle of the map. Kal's got to win this soon otherwise Brave is just going to roll later with his econ
On December 06 2010 18:41 _Quasar_ wrote: I think Kal will win this.
Kal went 3 gate that didn't do much, had a DT run around denying mining and killing probes, hasn't expanded and Kal basically traded armies in that attack. Pretty screwed.
brave not doing anything stupid kal with a shuttle holding 2 reavers gonna try and get something done but brave has cannons everywhere kal doesn't win the battle
On December 06 2010 18:45 hacklebeast wrote: I just traded stork for kal, god damn stx
This was actually kind of a BO win.
Except that he almost came back. If only he didn't push those goons into the main.
Yeah he was close to pulling off that eehan timing dong stylez.
Close but no Cigar. Dunno if he could have won if he kept the goons in the natural, but Brave was definitely economically ahead. and his army replenished way faster.

Brave had no army at that time, and Kal was preventing mining at the nat, while also picking off probes who had to buy time. Could have baited them for a while (preventing mining meanwhile), and reinforcing with the new reaver afterwards. He should have known that letting his goons get surrounded by the probes would have lost him those units oh kal why do you do this to me
Stork getting his robo on. Shuttle starting his temp archive. Meanwhile Stork a gate. Dragoons trying to stop storks scouting probe, after it few shots it explodes in a brilliant blue.
Shuttle starting his nexus in his nat. Robo finished for stork and he's getting reaver tech first. Shuttle out for Stork, stork has a unit line blocking the entrance to his nat.
Observatory started. DT on it's way to stork. Units block the dt a little, but move on to Shuttle's base. Dt kills a probe, probes running, another probe down. Obs is out, dragoons killing the Dt but not before it gets 2 more probes. Cannons started at Shuttle's nat
Another lone dt dead in the middle of the map as the observer arrives. OH reaver drop kills two HTs Stork now attacking the nat, 1 cannon goes down, shuttle's dragoons respond. Stork's shuttle goes down, but the reaver is doing a lot of damage.
Stork takes down all of shuttle's goons. Shuttle facepalms, it's over, stork's all up in the main.

Not the same situation, there's also more travel time on this map. There's a very short travel time in BR and the dts got there faster.

Also Brave had a lot more goons defending the HT's.

Kal always went for a riskier 3gate goon whilst stork went for a safer 1gate reaver.
Reality in blue at 1, Hero in brown at 11 Map is circuit breaker
Overlord searching in the right direction Hero going hatch first while sending a scouting drone out. First marine sent out to snipe the overlord, overlord flying through the gaps. Third hatch started in the main near the ramp.
Reality starting his CC after his rax. He's also building a supply at his nat. Engineering bay started.
Hero makes a few zerglings to dismantle the scouting scv. Hero morphing in a liar.
Reality adding a second rax. acadamy started also. Meanwhile Hero builds a spire. Scouting SCV runs into hero's main unopposed. Zerglings sitting outside Reality's nat. One sunken morphing in front of the nat. Hero taking his third down at 7. Spire finishes. Reality erecting turrets around his base.
Reality's fact is finished and he starts his starport.
Hydra den up for Hero, Mutalisks are out and begin their dance around the terran base. Queen's nest morphing in now for Hero, mutalisks snipe scvs here and there. 1 control group of mnm moving out but are halted by the threat of mutas.
Reality has a single tank sitting in his base. Hydras move out into the middle of the map, lurkers morphing in. Hive tech on it's way.
First vessel is now out. Lurkers finished morphing.
Reality walks around the lurkers (different route on the map), Hero realises and moves his lurkers into the nat but it's protected by bunkers. Mnm arrive at Hero's nat, tanks seige up, lurkers unburrow and retreat for now. 1 lurker down. Lings and lurkers move in from the front and the back. Mutas add some support. Vessel goes down to mutas. Mnm/tank army crushed by a lurker ling sandwich
Lurkers/lings on the move, advancing into the nat. Lurkers burrow and buildings explode. Lurkers move into the main, nat is empty and completely overtaken by zerg units
Oh my god, that was so text book, perfect zvt play. Those mutas didn't stop dancing even for a split second, while not missing a beat in the macro and teching department. 500 apm can sure be helpful sometimes ^^

That puts him one notch above action, unfortunately.
Yeah but action's been getting nothing but zvzs and Reality isn't that great of a terran player (especially against zerg)
I think that's because he's a somewhat better Skyhigh in the making. I have him on my FPL because he's played some darn good TvT at times. Then again, Actions fails have been a lot worse than Hero's, IMO.

These shinehyukesque pure hydra semi-all-ins we get in every ZvP nowadays are totally lame. Nice to see Kal countering this style of play.
Not playing JangBi ever in the game and not the best ace choice possible. Definitely KHAN coach needs some lessons. Even though Stork's PvP is slumping, still I'd pick his PvP over great's ZvP. Or, if he was so fucking determined about not sending Stork on ace match, he could send Grape because Kal is the fucking definite choice for the ace match.
On December 07 2010 03:11 nodule wrote: You think that January's problem was not playing Jangbi??? You do realize his record this season is something like 1-11, right?
He was on 13 or 14 game losing streak when he got his win. If anything, her problem was playing Jangbi over Turn in game 6 of their last game. I haven't watched these games yet, though (**** finals).
Great has pretty good ZvP, and has been performing better (more consistent at least) than any of the Khan protosses, and has been the Khan ace for a long time now.. IDK why everyone's all pissed at the decision.
Stork's PvP since January 1, 2010: 9-13 (40.91%) Great's ZvP since January 1, 2010: 10-12 (45.45%) (huh, I thought it was better than this)
No matter who January sent, Kal was a heavy favorite. I don't really have a problem with any of her player choices this time, Khan got beaten by a better team. Honestly, they were pretty lucky not to lose 4-0. Shit happens, we'll win next time.

Edit: I should have written: "People who aren't Khan fans only know of Stork/Jangbi so not seeing Stork in ace is like not seeing JD in ace for Oz.
Ugh, regarding a couple recent posts. 1) January is FEMALE so Khan's coach is a SHE 2) Kal is a PROTOSS
... but yes I do agree that January could have tried Stork or TurN just based on recent proleague performances and personal "momentum" (Stork is in both individual leagues!)

...which doesn't mean anything. Sending out Great, a player who has been playing very poorly as of late, is not particularly a bright idea no matter which way you cut it.

Which says a lot about the protoss duo's current performance I guess seeing Great hasn't been very hot right now. He's won a decent number of games but lost against anyone that isn't basically Canata or Violet.

Jangbi's slump is overwhelming. January is aware of it more so than we are even. Yes, he got 1 win, but it was against Saint, and everyone overlooked it and said "hey, he's back!". Saint is a pretty terrible player by progamer standards. 70th kespa rank, 0-4 vs protoss this season. In their game, the old Jangbi would have demolished him, and yet it took a lot of effort to put Saint down. He is far from back, and probably didn't plan very high on the inner-team rankings to be sent out yet.
