Fuck you, Flash. Fuck you. Game 4 he lost like 4 marines, not his "entire force" OL snipe was key. He was also forced to build sunkens, delay his third and lurker/ling instead of muta when Flash had no intention of pushing and just teched/tanked up without building mineral line turrets. It was a very high level game from Flash, nm JD could do.
On top of that, JD did a bunch of drops that killed some marines and supply depots, but lost a lot of units for it. 'Sick swarm drops' they may have been mechanically, but they didn't do much.

nada wasn't as dominant over a short period of time
nada was the most successful but he was successful over a long period of time whereas savior and iloveoov came in, destroyed everything without question and then went out
in iloveoovs case he retired. savior slumped and then started throwing games for money. nada didn't have the same sort of hyperdominant period on the scale of oov and savior

I'm talking about dominance as in the difference between his level and the rest.
Jaedong is closer to Savior than anyone was ever close to Savior during his era of dominance.

I understand people being upset about match fixing but refusing to accept saviors existence and impact is pretty ridiculous.
match fixing problems aside, savior was the one that took a race that was considered undepowered and weak and made it overpower and strong to a point people were wandering if he could ever be defeated (much like today's flash, but with terran never being considered weak)

When a player is able to beat an opponent who has a much better micro than him, it shows that something is wrong.. jaedong definitely has better micro as displayed in the games. Flash only need to turtle in 2 bases and win a zerg player. Nice balance starcraft1 got.

Oov/Boxer were more important for evolving the game, but aren't as good players; and numbers-wise, Flash is more dominant than Nada (win percentages) . Remember that Flash is also doing this when the overall quality of all players is higher than it ever was with those 3

I really hope that Broodwar will continue to exist long enough to see Flash fall into a long and hard slump the way Savior did. It is inevitable that it will happen eventually and it will make me so happy (as long its not yet another Terran that takes his place at the top).
