Snow doesn't even have experience with high pressure situations like this where the entire year is riding on this game. Effort does. It should have been no contest as to who got the ace spot.

Yes he's great. Did the coach think he could beat Bisu on this map? No. Hence, SKT1 are the winners. Period. EffOrt definitely could beat Bisu. Polaris Rhapsody is 10-13 in favor of protoss so it isn't that bad Oh you missed the game where Horang2 beat Effort in a straight up game on Polaris? I think Bisu can do better than that. Yeah seriously. Effort is not Jaedong and isn't a instant victory against protoss. He'll win the vast majority of the time but he's not "lol instant win". He's lost again and again pretty badly against Stats and as pointed out even against Horang2 who is awful against zerg. Sending Effort to fight Bisu is risky especially with a bad map. You're playing against the best PvZer ever seriously on a fairly "bad" ZvP map. yeah because there were really really many people here claiming that Effort was "lol instant win" vs Bisu, right? Effort is not Jaedong but he still is easily the 2nd best ZvPer in the world. Whatever, I dont even know what the point of argument is. Personally I think effort would have been the better choice against bisu, you disagree, no need to argue.

The 15-8 is televised games, but that includes his massive loss-streak. I prefer to see it as 14-2 :D

If the coach is not sending him, he is not confident in his ability, simple as that. It was a do-or-die situation where the most experienced and skilled player should've stepped in. Effort won the osl, he has the guts to play on big stage, he has the zvp streak as well, yet the coach took the rational decision to send out a protoss, knowing almost for sure SKT will pick Bisu. Now Effort just saved face by not being the guy who lost it for CJ if you dont think the map decided this playoff you are quite ignorant

Honestly, CJ was pretty much screwed for the ace match. Bisu was pretty much the sure choice for SKT, and if they sent Effort, he would lose to map imba. Snow just got outplayed. Wait, how is Polaris Rhapsody imba toward PvZ or TvZ? Clearly even a blind man can see that Terran has no hope on this map against a competent Protoss, hence Snow was sent out as a sniper against Fantasy. Although considering that SKT does have Bisu, surely coach Cho should have also anticipated the strong possibility of SKT fielding Bisu in ace match. Effort is perfectly competent against Bisu and Fantasy on this particular map, while Snow would have a significant advantage against Fantasy. Coach Cho took the risk, believed in Snow's PvP and sent Snow out. Bisu raped.

We all wish that Effort had of played and not Snow. Personally i like seeing Bisu win in a pvp to prove his whole return - BUT I would have preferred the epicness that Bisu v Effort would have shown us. I also think Snow was a mistake. He lost to Jangbi. He was bound to lose to Bisu. I think he played it great to make it so close.
