I was rooting for Bisu vs. Effort ACE but how can I complain after that game. Holy shit that was the best TvT in a long time. Great play from both players. Skyhigh literally bought himself back into the game by making mass dropships.

That was one of the highest level TvT's I've ever seen.

I've been trying to figure out how sKyHigh turned that around, and I think I can find three things.
1) (T)

Fantasy's harassing attacks at (T)

sKyHigh's expansions were effective at slowing sKyHigh's production, but because fantasy lost a good deal of units and sKyHigh could afford to be efficient as he had scv support, he was able to come out ahead in these battles, despite the econ damage. Tanks are much more expensive than scvs in TvT.

2) sKyHigh's denial of fantasy's expansions was excellent, and although fantasy at one point had a slight econ lead, he was able to starve fantasy out with his persistent attacks. Again, sKyHigh was being more efficient, which is the name of the game in TvT

3) When fantasy broke sKyHigh's tank line, he pressed his advantage by cleaning out the whole line to the north. But while doing this, he lost units that could've been avoided if he had not tried to break the whole line, or used dropships as support.

But also, YEAH CJ!

You just don't get that many expos in TvT and expect to defend them with barely any dropships. Skyhigh understood that and made Fantasy pay with vastly superior mobility.
