keep dreaming fanboys You really did your research for this statement, didn't you? + Show Spoiler [Nice OZ+Zerg icons] +I'm probably feeding a troll, but why not. Everyone quotes that like it's a sign of Bisu's undeniable return. I (and everyone else) know all about that game and how Jaedong had a clear advantage until he sacrificed his army for basically nothing. Anyway, yes, this is what I was talking about when I said "keep dreaming, fanboys." Edit: Also, since we're playing that game, nice SKT and protoss Icons lmao. Anyway, I don't deny that Bisu can have a lucky game against Jaedong and beat C-level zergs (such as hyvaa), but he's going to get crushed in every other matchup and by any competent zerg that doesn't throw the win away. It's the sad truth. I'm not taking side in this stupid argument, but I love how you criticize him for having an SKT and p icon as an argument while you yourself have an OZ and z icon. Take a look at his quoted post, genius. Ok, look, you're an Oz fan, most likely a Jaedong fan of course, and you detest Bisu. We understand that. But the fact remains that this is an SKT1/CJ Entus LR thread, and your comments are rather inflammatory and also aimed directly at half of the fans that are cheering for a team in this thread. I mean, look at your very first post - you're basically bashing Bisu because you don't like him and contributing absolutely nothing to the hype of this match. Now, I'm an SKT/Bisu fan. But as a marginally sane person and someone who doesn't see the point behind arbitrary arguments being thrown around on a livereport thread before the match has even begun, I'm asking you to cease and desist, as it were, unless you can bring something more meaningful to the conversation. I don't care about Bisu, at all. He's been showing less than stellar results and I find it laughable that people are "predicting" that he'll beat whoever he plays (look on the first couple pages for these 4-0 or 4-1 routes). I was posting that, and some fanboy decided to tried to unsuccessfully argue and then resort to passive-aggressive insults instead of debating. You took a better approach, but are you seriously trying to tell me that I am banned from posting in here because I have an Oz icon? Ridiculous. This is part of the hype. It's not uncommon, unless your posts were all accumulated since the last season. This is the proleague finals. Even someone who wasn't good at Brood War (i.e. me) likes to watch the pros duke it out over fame, glory, and a bunch of prize money. For a post that you think was so well thought-out, you are only adding fuel to the fire. Don't. Let the fanboy never respond to me or let his arguments fizzle out. I'm hoping one more person asking you to chill out will give you some humility. You posted a jarring remark about a player a lot of people have strong feelings for in the team's live report thread the day of the playoffs without evidencing your claim. You were looking to piss someone off and you did it, now people are asking you to stop.
How is it the team's live report thread? It is literally a topic about SKT and CJ, not just SKT. One guy asked me to stop after another person attacked me for pointing out something that we all know based on the evidence of the past six months. You're really full of yourself if you think that humility (not that it's needed in this case) is something you can instill in somebody by posting and telling them so.

In honor of SKT, I will devote myself to wearing SKT team colors until the end... even if it means purchasing a whole new orange wardrobe to match their new salmon-like uniforms!
GO SK TELECOOOOOOOOOOOOOM~~~!! \o/

I just like an equal dose of fanboyism before a game. I feel empty without my CJ fanboy interview rations.

You were doing so well until that last sentence. All I was asking for was less of that unconstrained trolling and bashing up there. I think it's fine that you don't think Bisu will win his game; I just didn't agree with your method of saying it.
You're right. It was an unnecessary addition. My mistake.
Also, I think there's a possibility that Bisu can win his game, but judging from the last six months, I really don't see it happening unless his opponent is either really bad, or makes a game-changing mistake a'la Jaedong.

To everyone automatically matching CJ players to maps, they quit the 1 player=1 map practice more than one year ago, on the other hand Movie was the player who extabilished how to play vs the zerg HBR 4scourge/6den/7muta build, so I wouldn't count him out, I'd blame part of his slump to the recent map pool which hasn't been favoring his style.
Fantasy's only chances of winning a game are against BByong, Hydra and Movie, his TvT has been as overrated as Hwasin's, SkyHigh ridiculized him at the beginning of the season by exploiting his "I only use scans vP" style and I think other CJ players will follow his example.
The SK zergs are big wildcards, Hyuk and Soo are both able to beat EffOrt whose ZvT lost a bit of brilliance recently.
Bisu has only shown style in his PvZs where he went for the modern 1star sair DT into goon/reaver bust, he is the guy with the most cards up his sleeve imo.
SK's terran legacy has pretty much crumbled to the absence of a second terran, Best has improved a lot and is now a medium-good player, the best thing for CJ would be to feed him Iris or have a fresh A-teamer outplay him before he gets his macro going.
Effort is good, Snow would pretty comfortably beat fantasy under any circumstance, especially since IdrA praised his intelligence along with his mechanics.
From what I see it's going to be a big rock paper scissors game, at least we can expect interesting builds in most of the games except for possible ZvZs.

Let's hope Canata recovered his skill entirely so we can have a 6 hour Canata vs Skyhigh game.
|
It just occoured to me, if we look past these two teams the best protoss in the playoffs is Stats and the best zerg is RorO. That is a scarry lack of depth in the non-terran races. Untill Kal and Calm stop playing like scrubs, they don't count.

Oh my gosh, please for the love of God, don't let Canata play Skyhigh...I actually want to sleep tonight. =.=

Even with these two teams, Stats is the best protoss in the playoffs. 8)

Movie is 4-0 on Fortress, and is the only Protoss so far to win there. (Granted, small sample size.)
Snow has good karma on Fighting Spirit. He beat Flash there, as well as winning his Dream League finals match against Soulkey there.
Match Point is Fantasy's map, plus I don't Coach Cho risking wasting Effort there when it's such a good PvZ map for Toss. Hell, Best has a good chance at beating Effort there. Send a Terran there and on HBR. A Zerg for PR, b/c Tosses love that map.
Those would be my guesses for CJ.

rly great banner disciple! in fact, the whole layout is really elegant! gogo SKT! I hope Bisu dominates tonight =0

Do playoff matches take forever to get started like starleague semis/finals? Just wondering when I should expect the games to begin..

Hope the match will be great, and hope SKT gonna win that!
