honestly I think that some of the uses that Chill called wrong are good uses of the word, but since he + a lot of other Teamliquidians seem to have agreed that it should never be used as a noun I've had to keep it out of my vocabulary when making serious posts =(

Metagame is a perfectly good word. Not sure what all the hate is about. Here's a hint guys, if people know what you mean when you use a word then the usage is "correct". Just like people complaining whenever someone uses the word irony in a way that doesn't fit some rigid dictionary definition. Language is a living thing and not something set in stone. Deal with it.
