he's defending 7 which has plenty of minerals while most of the other bases on the map have very few left just 12.5, the center expo, and 7.5 have lots left | ||

As far as I'm concerned, this statement just confirms you're more bitter about Flash losing than calmly stating your actual thoughts. Just watch today's game again. And tell me that didn't look like S-class TvT play from both players. (For the record, I don't really give a shit about MVP. I just like good Starcraft, and this was an awesome, extremely high level game which I thoroughly enjoyed.) Seriously? I know this is a borderline troll but I'll bite anyway. Standard TvT is how the majority of TvTs play out - Tank lines and Dropship play with the winner establishing superior positioning (and often more bases). MVP didn't win any of his games the way most TvTs are won - by doing a better job establishing territory. There's a reason why most TvTs play out that way.... I'm not bitter at all about Flash's loss. I think it's great for him to get wakeup calls like this - better in game 1 of a bo5 against a player you're better than than in a worse situation. And the irony is I actually LIKE MVP. I think his recent TvPs have been extremely impressive (not the most sustainable style but he did what he had to do to beat some top P's). I still remember his win over Stork in GOM. Hell, I even made him the captain of my FPL team! It's because I've watched him closely that I feel like I understand his flaws better than the casual observer (which you yourself admitted you were for even this past game). Anyway this was a great game between Hiya and Free. | ||
