I strongly believe that if your templar tech is later than your opponents, you must use Dark Archons to counter their storm advantage. rofl, double the cost of a single templar just for the hope of pulling off a feedback... | ||

Plus templar usually only do one storm before going to like 40 mana, at which point they just merge to make Archons. The DT will usually stay alive. But alas, it is not worth it ... because the only difference between storm tech and Dark Archons is that you don't have to research anything for feed back. But getting a feedback pulled off is not so easy, and fairly soon you want to upgrade to storm tech yourself. So you really don't need DA to fill the gap when you can just play defensively until you have storm tech yourself. In general it seems that some pro players will use this strategy, but rarely do you see DAs in PvP. | ||

Replay showing when Much won the first battle...and now moving towards 12 and screwing up that battle - with his templar leading off and getting picked off getting stormed to hell and not dodging should have played defensively if he was taking an extra expansion... | ||
