JD was always a risky player, trying to defend with the bare minimum if possible. That's nothing new and he has lost quite some hilarious games this way.
I really don't believe the mutas and lings in a better position would have made a difference, the amount of M&M out of 5rax is just silly and the second or third wave would have killed him.
He just needed to scout the 5rax, but he did not even check for them. When he sees those rax, sunken up+lots of lurkers and the game is won, with no tech on ForGG's part. Nothing more to it

JD gogo ace match!

ForGG's records against Bisu, Jaedong, and Flash are all pretty unbelievable.

This is good for Oz at least. That means they still have Hiya, and hopefully Killer to ZvP. COME ONNNN ACE. JD vs Flash (and a close game lol)!

I love when my opponent do 3hatch muta in closepos when I do Ebay +5rax. Its really hard to lose. he made quite a lot of mistakes in judgement. he lost most of his lings/mutas on a fail surround. his muta were also out of position when the timing attack came. mutas had to fly in from behind after forgg has already taken out a sunken, obviously not expecting him to actually move in.

lmao flash with 2 hands off the keyboard for 6 seconds while drinking at the beginning of every game never gets old.

It would have helped in delaying the inevitable, JD would have given up any eco advantage he had and give forgg map control.
Tell me how is a zerg with two gas suppose to beat a terran who has map control?

I don't think Jaedong knew he had 5 rax

Flash the dominant blue Terran at 11
Lomo the yellow terran at 5.
They battle over Polaris Rhapsody!
Flash times his pocari sweat drink perfectly.

I guess it wouldn't be a stretch to say Flash is the favourite

I'd say it would be an interesting game to analyze, whether Jaedong could have done way better than this. He obviously
a) mismicroed some of his mutas, failed the Mutaling flank on the smaller MM group. b) spent most of his time attacking the ball instead of going for economy and whatnot.
however, had he gone for the SCVs, he would have had even more trouble holding off the push. To me it looks like quite a dilemma he was in.

Yeah he failed that one because medics was blocking the lings, he should have pulled back. But overall I don't see this game as bad play from jaedong. fast +1 and 5 rax is pretty much a counter to jaedongs build. He could have spammed 8 sunkens and let forgg take out the expansion instead and play 2base vs 2base since forgg had late tech but still not a good position. Forgg would have been so ealily destroyed had it been a lurkeropening. ForGG took a chance and it worked...

Flash building his depot/rax by his ramp to wall. He starts his gas. Lomo builds his depot by his CC to push scvs and his rax a small bit forwards, he also starts his gas.

Flash's advertising of Pocari Sweat is obviously working. Fangirl caught with one can in her hand.

I think he was expecting a bust, thus the three sunkens and the attempt to get lurkers asap, but wasn't expecting 5 barracks of pain.

A terran without tech. Masslurkers and ForGG is losing. Saying the loss was inevitable is silly imo.

What exactly was Jaedong supposed to do at that point? Sunken up and lose eco advantage. Don't sunken and die.
Was he supposed to do something earlier and failed? Muta harrass better? I find it hard to believe that Jaedong could have taken out that mob of MnM no matter how well he microed.

Building sunkens (lots) & lurkers for defense while harassing the scvs with muta.
|
Lomo with the scv scout, 1 scv on gas as he starts his factory
Flash not scouting at all, he still has 3 scvs on gas after starting his factory starports coming up?
|
flash with an early starport after 1 fac.
