its not possible for either team to sent out B-teamers. if they are on their team roster they are offically A-Teamers. only A teamers are allow to play in booths and sit with the team anyways

I thought Barracks/Tempest played decently too. Not perfect, mind you, but they hardly rolled over.
Barracks main mistake was going for Hyun's third instead of just going into the natural after he killed all those mutas. After that small timing window, he couldn't do anything because he went for a late-tech build and had to wait an eternity for vessels or else get raped by stop-lurkers.
Tempest was a little too aggressive with his first couple pushes and lost too many units, but he played alright for the most part.
